Light and sturdy. Good stuff.👍
Wrong sized shells??
Nah it was definitely 12g
Low brass runs like shit in nearly all semi autos.
The federal low brass ive been running runs fine
@BendingBallistics maybe you have better luck, or your springs happen to be weaker, but semi auto shotguns, of all brands, are NOTORIOUS for being unreliable with low brass, because they're usually gassed to run optimally with 3" shells, as that's what they're chambered for. Both the springs and gas system run best on beefier loads. Some even tell you in the manual to ONLY run high brass.
@TheCoolwhipped I have a pison gas system in this one it's generally pretty reliable other then with Winchester white box ammo
What's the FPS on that birdshot? Its recommended to only run 1350 FPS or higher ammo for the break-in period.
It was 1300
Just got one for $341 at Dahlonega Armory! Ordered Tuesday, delivered Thursday. Shipping +ffl fee brought me to $374 💪🏽 Seems solid, cant wait to shoot it.
I went out and shot mine again today it was interesting
@@BendingBallistics hopefully in a good way?
@@ashylarry7411 you'll have to stay tuned to find out
Not looking good for Winchester.
I got Hatfield sas 12ga only run 3inch mag 4shot or high brass 5 or 6 shot . Never put low brass in my yet. I say oil it and clean might have adjusted the gas sleve in it also for light field loads.
Im gonna do that I wanna really get down to the nitty gritty of this thing
Nice to see options like this. 👍 Thanks
Seeing these going in the $350 range now brings me to TH-cam to see how they do.......looks good 👍
I have nothing bad to say about mine
I built a Wilson Combat rifle as well. You are right. About the handguard barrel nut. It was an odd size. But I had a barrel nut wrench that was close. Used a small piece of brass as a shim. The only thing that isn’t Wilson combat is the barrel, gas block and gas tube. I want a standard rifle length gas system.
Wilson combat rifles I don't even think about. Bcm,DD, spikes, lmt are all better options than a rifle from a 1911 manufacturer
noveske has an intermediate gas tube that works very well
I reverse build. Many of Omni ATIs I got running n sold. Sorry to hear your pain, that sucks. I stay away from Bear Creek too...
Im not a huge fan of bear creek however some of their stuff is cool. I'm not into brand bashing or budget shaming, I feel bear creek has their nitch market of budget. However I think bear creek could do better on quality control or customer service. Much like any company they all have their flaws
@@BendingBallistics perfectly said brother 🙌
I love my gerber stuff
They say on their website exactly what size wrench to use. On their website it says "Crowsfoot wrench 1-3/16" x 3/8" thick". That IS customer service. They made a barrel nut that accepts a common size of commercial crowsfoot. I do not own a single Wilson combat product but your whole issue with this was that you didn't read the description on their website for this product and if you had you'd know this doesn't use a dumb armorers wrench but just a common open ended crowsfoot wrench that is available anywhere tools are sold. Geissele also does not include a barrel nut wrench. A lot of manufacturers don't. There is a reason. It's because dealers very commonly buy parts and especially handguards and then assemble them in their shops and sell them as assembled uppers. If they include a wrench with every single handguard those dealers end up with hundreds of wrenches they don't use. Instead, they explicitly state on their website that you will need a wrench and what size you will need. IMO, that's better than charging me $5 more for a wrench that I may already own. This is a very silly issue to have with a company and then at the end of the video you literally shill for one of the companies with the worst QC in the entire AR market? What are you smoking dude? They have a good reason for no QD slots too. BCM also doesn't include QD slots. Geissele does but they now have steel inserts. Geee, I wonder if that's a hint as to why most good AR manufacturers are moving away from machined QD slots? Perhaps its because the sling QD's rely on steel ball bearings and steel wears aluminum down? Plus the machined QD slots are in a set location that may or may not be where you want/need them. You spent $1500 on a nice rifle and you're complaining about a $5 wrench that they told you up front you would need to get. A wrench that you could get from Home Depot...you then went out of your way to use an armorers wrench which was the wrong tool for the barrel nut even though they told you to use a regular crescent wrench crowsfoot. Dude, have you ever worked on anything other than a few AR15s? Do you change your own motor oil? Cuz it sounds like you seriously lack common sense. I'm legitimately baffled by this video lmfao.
First of all, I didn't order this handguard from wilson second of all the website in which I ordered the handguard thru was from a 3rd party distribution of wilson combat was not listed that the handguard didn't come with a barrel nut wrench. Yes it's frustrating with a 1500 dollar rifle I assembled didn't come with a 5 dollar barrel nut wrench what's your point that was the entire point of the video. So you missed that one off in left field. So much like your comment you missed the point Have a great day
@@BendingBallistics No, I didn't miss the point at all. You're mad about nothing. They told you to use a crescent wrench(I'm sure they specified the size considering they do so on their website) that you can get at any store that sells tools and you still used some random armorers wrench even though it's literally the wrong tool in this case. Why? It's an open ended crowsfoot. You probably have the size you needed if you ever work on your car. They literally designed this so that you could install it with a normal ass wrench instead of having to buy a dumb armorers wrench that can only be used for one thing. That's a good engineering decision and you're mad cuz they didn't put the wrench in the box. Would you also be mad at Geissele for that? Their handguards are even more expensive. Nothing in this world is free--if they put a wrench in the box you're paying for that wrench. No manufacturer on earth can afford to throw in a free wrench, that would add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars if they put a wrench in the box at their own expense so you are paying for that wrench every time its in the box. It isn't free. They don't include the wrench. It says so on their website and it says what size you need. You should have at least checked their website before ordering it because that's basic research that you should do before spending so much money. You asked their customer service for a wrench and they were helpful and informed you that all you need is a normal, very common wrench that you probably have in your toolbox if you work on anything other than guns and you're mad about it? Why on earth would you be mad about it? Are you mad because they didn't include it "for free"? Because I assure you, the "free wrench" in the box is absolutely factored into the price of the handguard. You only perceive it to be free because it isn't an itemized bill. This is the dumbest complaint I've ever seen about any gun company and then for you to go on and advertise for Anderson is even more hilarious.
@armorers_wrench you do realize anderson is the oem for about 31 different ar companies correct. Tell me your not in the firearms industry with out telling me your not in the firearms industry

Awesome!! Has it given you any problems?

Howdy 👍
I'm sure there are good ones, but unfortunately I've seen close to a dozen built or purchased complete WC ARs that had issues out of box or before the first 200rds. I never looked for them for ARs, but like other companies that do well in one area, branching out increases sales, but usually effects qc somewhere
100 percent I agree, one of my favorite companies to deal with hands down is anderson manufacturing their customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced in my experience with the firearms industry

Hell yeah!
I haven't heard anything good about Crimson Trace optics
The first 1000 rounds thru the pcc it held zero great. I've shot a few matches with it, and now it has decided to leave the chat on holding zero I bore sighted it later that day once I got home is was roughly 5" off its been a frustrating experience
Honestly super happy with mine. I've got the same model with the wood furniture. I wasn't expecting much given the price tag, but it's really pulled through: I'm at around 1200 rounds fired (mostly birdshot, to be fair) and attended my first shooting competition with it yesterday morning. Placed 4th out of 15; 1st in my division! The only guys ahead of me in the combined rankings had either 10+ round magazines like you see in all the 'Tactical Shotgun Tips' videos, or detachable magazines (Saiga-12). Not much you can do about that. :P Would I stake my life on it or exalt it as a great SHTF weapon? No, that's the AR-15's job honestly. But for blasting paper, clay, and steel in a range environment it's a fantastic value.
I absolutely love mine I have about the same round count you do I've ran some 3 gun matches with mine and it keeps chucking along
🤘🏼🤘🏼😜❤️🩹🙏🤘🏼🤘🏼
Great overview, would love to see some shooting footage!
Im currently working on a video!
Sounds like a bad mag to me...
Oh most definitely
@BendingBallistics what mag was that? Looked like either gen 2 pmag or some promag, but I can't tell from the video. Could also be low mass bcgs aren't the most reliable. Also, some autist is probably going to say "omg bro it's an spr, not a dmr bc its an intermediate cartridge common in the rest of a small unit, not a full power cartridge like 308, 6.5 creedmoor, etc!!1!"
@TheGunNerd it was a pmag, the issue was the mag I have ran it fine with other mags the mag I had in there was old and worn out ive used it from the inception of my channel prior to that it was an old 3 gun mag I can't tell you how many times I've dropped that mag at matches or even dropped it because I have butter fingers sometimes
@BendingBallistics cool. Yeah mag springs do wear out after time
@TheGunNerd oh absolutely, that mag has been abused hard probably has been loaded 100s of times
I like my AM-15 I want a lower treated with the nano tech though, would be nice to just clean with soap and water and be done
Im a huge supporter of anything anderson manufacturing, I have just their entire line up, I have been using then in 3 gun for years now they have been amazing, the nano tech would be a cool concept too

Honest mistake but definitely run that safety on dry fire reps. Should be second nature so you don’t get hung up when it counts.

Thanks for watching Mario
Even You…. Who are you".
Who are you?
Just shows he rocks his safety off way more than safety on
I guess you could say that
That is the best video I've watched. The suppressor is so quiet, absolutely ZERO gas blow back, and also NO global warming from the burning gun powder.😅
"Even I..."
Just shows you don't use your safety like you should be. It's should be muscle memory for it to come off safety to make the shot and go back on safety. You need to work on simple rifle fundamentals before making TH-cam videos.
It shows I made a simple mistake, I don't use a safety often your correct because I also know to keep my finger off the trigger when I'm not using it
Since your a fundamentals expert wheres your youtube channel at I would like to review your videos @chrismoulds7988
@@BendingBallistics You are correct. "Real world" shooting practices are safe without following ~youtube guidelines~ of safety. Finger off trigger, unloaded until at the shooting line(and then some) and pointing down range covers the major stuff. We all need to add the "safe/fire/safe" steps.
Yea Rambo 😂😂😂😂
