I never fished for steelhead, so those patterns are not my area! But for Atlantic salmon I use a lot of smaller bottle tubes with black and orange, orange and yellow, red butts, green butts. And of course smaller sunray variations

@@eiriknielsen3011 Eirik, could you also please recommend any of your vidoes to tie salmon fly for winter/spring high water and fast current to get the optimal depth?

@@dmitrijsstupins9624 for hight water fishing i use regatta a lot and the sierrakorva. Thats probably my favorites:) for rappid current the vimu is really good. :)

@@eiriknielsen3011 Nice. Do you attach any conjuction tube for small bottle tube copper before you attach the hook?

@@dmitrijsstupins9624 yea:) I have an innertube like 1.8 mm and a silicon tube behind for the hook

Hei. Jeg har kun brukt gummi. Litt av poenget er å få den bevegelsen i bena på overflaten. Dem beveger seg godt. Så ville ikke hatt for stive nei

@@eiriknielsen3011 Bare så når jeg bandt med silikonbein at de blir veldig hengende nedover og blir sikkert å havne litt inn mot kroppen under inntrekk.

@@preuxy1752 ulempen er jo hvis dem stikker ned i vannet. Da vil du miste stabiliteten i flua. Den legger seg fort på siden:( gummibena ligger på overflaten og holden den stabil

Ye i can do that! The regatta is my nr 1 Orkla fly for the June fishing and the copper sunray was very good last year when it was 20-70 cubic. But I can do another one as well :)

thanks a lot mate! I never been to scotland unfortunately. But i wish to go there in april/may sometime and try the early springers. Would be a good start to the season here in norway that stats 1th of june.

@@eiriknielsen3011 You will love it here. We are lucky our season is much longer. My local river is open 11 days now but we don't normally pick a fish up until march. Its still great to fish for 2 or 3 hours a day when the tides right.
