I took one apart but it's a bugger to get it back together I recorded some audio from In Defence of Fear (From Jaws 19's Horror Special) to make music on my Tascam Porta 1. The tape would be improved by removing the metal strip at the start/end

    I'm 19 and i get together every week to ride with my friends on my 1990 Yamaha dt50lc. its liquid cooled 6 speed from the 90s they don't ride bikes that small but its fun trying to keep up with them or commuting on the road. it was alot work getting to run and drive proper i tore the hole bike down. had to clean the gas tank and put front forks from a parts dirt bike i had laying around. tuned it up with bigger carb and milled down the head for more compression and it will do 65mph on a flat and have more to go. before i got it though it was sitting in a shed forgotten about i convinced the guy to sell it to me for 500. i bought it with 2500km and now have 12000km. i will probably never sell it.

    This really takes me back when I was an eager 16 year old buying my first moped. A 1977 /78 Yamaha FS1M, I think it was the first year that the FS1M had the autolube! It's funny even after 42 years I can still remember the registration....S50 SOS To this day, I still kick myself knowing that I part exchanged it for £60! when I was 17.

    I think you should do a 2005 for US All! I would really like to see how you go about it. I'd really like to learn how to do this as I purchased my dream Furby and I am esthetically done with the skin and I am now moving into the internal barts. I want to know where to attach. Circuit bends onto the circuit board. Thanks for an amazing video lots of great input. Hopefully, you read this comment, and you can get a 2005 Furby and do one up for us all.

      @Beyond_Slots 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@chrisbullock613 Oh k, so have you seen the video here on TH-cam? With the furby that has the pill bottle that is attached. I guess to a bendable wire of some sort with a 3.5 mm audio Jack on it, and it even has the red and blue, LED. Flashing lights behind the eyes. Have you seen that 1? That's what I'm trying to duplicate kind of and I'm just trying to learn more about the circuitry and what I need to soder too.

    • @chrisbullock613
      @chrisbullock613 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Beyond_Slots I haven't seen that one, if you want it to flash with sound you could look at using a transistor with the audio signal coming in to the gate and the LED and power supply on the collector. I think it's called an emitter follower circuit where the small audio signals act like a switch to turn on and off the power to the LED.

    As an Aussie the equivalent experience for me is the CB, CD, CL, GL and SL 175 Honda twins. I'm 60, going on 16... never even bothered to get a car license until my mid 40's. My first bike was an SL 175 which I purchased based on exhaust note alone... and then proceeded to mod into a micro-cruiser before manufactured metric cruisers like the CM 250 Honda were even a thing. That bike set me free to "cross state lines". And I've been crossing lines set by the state ever since. I've got about 14 bikes in my shed ATM, including CB, CD, CL, and GL 175's... well, except the GL, which is actually in my lounge room... I have never found another SL, let alone my original "cruiser". I deeply empathise with these Pohmmy blokes who have gone searching for their long lost first love...
