I think it was the result of the rushed production. Used the audio file of a Shepard who’d 1: Romanced Cortez 2: Was actually watching him die Didn’t polish up the sequence to account for other routes. Y’know, like if he survived and/or wasn’t romanced. The result? Comic gold.

Yeah bioware unfortunately got the wrong impression from it and made mass effect Andromeda in the spirit of the citadel dlc.

What's also funny is Shepard's reaction to Conrad Verner's line about his Shepard Shrine. FemShep sounds like Conrad is on her last nerve and she's seconds away from throttling him. MaleShep just sounds resigned to Conrad's insanity.

Making up the story is pretty funny but making Grunt apologize is even better
