I was there last week. Wild camped winnets pass the night before solstice, so obviously woke up there solstice morning.. then I walked the great ridge , popped into the old nags in Edale for a pint ( or two ) then wild camped kinder... it was a great few days ( posted a video of it ).. Take care out there.

21st Century Suffolk.
In the 17th & 18th Centuries was The Golden Age of Highwaymen & Pirates. Criminals themselves. Police-less Periods! No Constabulary. No Emergency Services.
I recognize the place. My Parents and I have been there before.
It was really lovely to see your walk around Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Thank you. It brought back many memories and made me feel quite nostalgic. I used to live in Suffolk and we would visit Aldeburgh/Thorpeness at least three of four times a year. That was a few years ago now though before I moved away from the UK. I’ve sat on that beach eating fish and chips many times 🙂

Used to love this place as a kid now i wouldent ever go back totally spoilt here what have they done to the rides that used be inside replaced the whole inside with restaurants this place has seriously declined but it okay i now have southend just down the road from me which is much better than this place😊

Aldeburgh is certainly not one of them! Now just a mass of flashy cars and gawping tourists. I knew it well in the 1960s and 70s, but in this day and age it has changed beyond recognition. Such a deep tragedy................

Keswick is my favourite Town in England! beautifully clean and has everything you need with just a few minutes walk to scenic Derwent Water.

That was a good go at pronouncing Watendlath, I have done 2 videos with walks to there and I still do not thing I got the pronunciation right either times. Lovely bit of colour and always a great view from Surprise View and the route your took to Watendlath is the way we have always returned, sticking to the road on the way there to make it a loop. Shame the café was not open, as it is a real nice place to have a lunch stop but a sandwich next to the tarn looked real nice anyway. Good watch and some nice drone footage, cheers Alan
