Doesn't surprise me, a lot of TSW routes are released in various states, mostly unfinished with bugs like this still in situ.

G'day! You are most welcome, happy these can help out! The workman figures are assets that come with the majority of Dovetail Games routes such as London to Brighton, ECML London to Peterborough and Great Eastern Mainline (examples) - they are part of the DTG Common Library. The 'engine blocker' I use (there are a few out there) is one designed by the guys at Just Trains. It is part of their common library, available with the majority of their routes. Midland Mainline is probably the best bet to acquire this asset and you can use it to place signals to red as would happen by the signaller in real life. It's not realistic but it's the closest you can get in TS Classic.

@@lmsimulation413 I think I'm looking in the wrong place. I thought the DTG Common Library was the top right field where you import content into game like trains. Checked the game directory. Just cannot find the DTG Common Library folder.

@@aussiecoffeebean The DTG Common Library is not a place or specific folder. It is a name given to a group of assets supplied with nearly every route developed by Dovetail Games. ECML London to Peterborough was an example, so if you go to the right hand menu in the editor, scroll down to 'RSC' and then click on the the two boxes next to 'ECMLS' this should then load the assets for you to browse in the left hand menu. It's not easy to explain at all, hence why I made this video. Sorry if this doesn't help much but it is all I can do.

@@lmsimulation413 Thanks for your help. No you explained it really well in your video. I knew where to find it but could not find anything that resembles the "blocker". What I did was go directly into the editor of the ECML London to Peterborough map. Assets showed but no blocker. Then I went into the RSC directory on the right hand menu and located ECML directory. Actually mine is labeled "ECMLS". Added those assets. Of course nothing extra was added. All Good! I will just use real trains to my scenerios. Thanks for your time!

It's not a route I am familiar with in real life as I haven't travelled on it yet sadly, I meant I am in no great rush to travel on it for any particular reason. Maybe if there was some reason to go on it, but there isn't really. Hope this helps! 😄

I agree for sure, one that needs an 'enhancement pack' of its own! Much like the Settle to Carlisle line, made in a different era of Train Simulator! I purely got it just to fill a gap where there was one!

When in free roam, simply navigate to the bar on the right as I did in this video (box icon) and then select the developer of the 14XX you are using (e.g. Bossman Games) and then tick the boxes next to the 14XX, this way you can spawn the 14XX in Free Roam in Falmouth Branch.

Thank you very much for the advice, I never knew that! Another one I can never get right is Euxton just South of Preston… is it ‘Yuckston’ or ‘Exton’? Seems to be a fair few places in that area that have rather interesting pronunciations!

My graphics settings are pretty much set to max, I don't use any fliters or mods to change the graphics. I have a high end computer that allows this.

Yes unfortunately UKTrainSim shut down this year, and a lot of content was lost subsequently. I do have a copy of the route which I could share, but not without the Route Creator’s permission and I don’t even know who that is or how to contact them… very sorry!

That is currently planned, however my schedule currently only allows for 1 video per month, so I've had to prioritise other more up to date content. Rest assured South West England will be returning in 2024.

Hi there, That certainly isn’t difficult, but would be a pain to try and explain in a comment. Instead I will produce a video showing you how at some point - so keep an eye out for this in the coming months.

Yes, I have all the Just Trains Midland Mainline addons, and there are quite a few now. Just ensure your version is up to date, but I recommend purchasing the addons to the base route for the full experience like mine.

That could be any number of things, even my game crashes from time to time. Just contact Dovetail games through their support network and they should be able to assist.

Yeah the AI passengers in TSW have always been... questionable!

There isn’t a script you can buy unfortunately. TS has its limitations with AI and it isn’t prototypical like real life unfortunately. In order to show a red, I often use a ‘Invisible Blocker’ loco rather than a train and this will occupy a platform until a certain time to simulate the red signal being shown to the driver outside the station. In terms of following trains, if you set your priority to ‘Stopping Passenger’ and the AI you are following to ‘Express Passenger’ it should work then, although that is not a perfect system. Hiya, in order to do this you need to hold ‘CTRL’ on the keyboard whilst clicking the train and it should all highlight and allow to you delete in one go. However Train Sim is old software and this doesn’t always work in some routes.

When you click on the train, just click the rotate button in the top left corner and it will turn the train around and driver will be in the front rather than back.

All my settings are set to the highest level in accordance with Nvidia GeForce on my PC.
