The Mouse Dilemma Part 3, the final chapter
มุมมอง 231หลายเดือนก่อน
Find out how the story ends with the baby mice, Micky and Minnie. When I caught them in my live traps I knew they were too young to make it out in the wild, so I cared for them until they were big enough to stand a fighting chance.
The Mouse Dilemma part 2

I decided the little mice I caught were too young to release into the wild, so I committed to keep them until they were a little stronger and more capable to survive on their own.

just remember you did more for them than most people would... most would've just killed them... here you brought them to a nice place, gave them food, bedding to get set up.
So moved!
Wow! So exciting!
powerful! please more stories about little creatures! any roaches at your place?
no roach story yet...though I have observed they have a very strong drive for survival and they know when I am looking at them. They wait for me to look away and then they hightail it... they can survive for up to 2 weeks without their head! pretty amazing...and can develop resistance to insecticide and then pass the immunity on to their offpring!
Can’t wait for part V! hot digitty mice!
are they both girls? you aren't supposed to put boys together
I think it was 2 girls... at least one was a girl for sure!
learning a lot from these videos! have a mouse now i caught and ripped up paper for the little one thanks to you!
you are such a good mouse mama!
I'm not sure that his diet makes him a gentleman - I've owned mice for decades and can appreciate small creatures as much as anyone. Once you get to know a mouse you'll find they all have their own little personalities, even fetishes! And they're insanely smart - to a point they can manipulate humans! One tried reverse psychology on me, that was interesting!
tell us your totally unhinged without telling us
not totally... maybe occasionally...
Once you had the jack stand in place you should have removed the hydraulic jack.
why?

This was painful to watch😂
Thanks, just did my 2017. It's about $110 where I go in here in Chicago. Did myself for about $30 and used a "better" oil brand than they do 😊.
THIS is what happens when you let these SQUATTERS OUT OF THERE BOX call ERASE and clean this shit up
You shouldn't have been able to unscrew the filter by hand 😂
Thanks for the video, really helpful!!!
I ran a cable through a roof vent and got the cable stuck and the cable just about broke my arms. Anyway ,it turned out a 1x2x12 piece of wood was stuck in the vent from construction causing a 1st floor apt. blockage. We cut the vent stack behind the toilet and managed to pull it out. Stay safe.
yikes!
Part of the problem is the cable on those machines is too soft and tends to kink. I had one of those machines and ordered the stiffer cable for it. Also, the cameras that most plumbers use is a better push rod, for being able to push it through the house trap, they run around 10 grand. Retired plumber so I can speak from experience. Please, though, the next time you have to do that, wear sturdy shoes, so you don't injure your toes
thanks for the tips, didn't know you can get a different cable🙏
I really do appreciate anyone willing to do it themselves. You gave it go which is A LOT more than most folks. There is no substitute for experience, now you have some.... and now, if you can find an honest one, consider getting a professional with the full assortment of tools and years of experience doing that one task at their disposal. No matter what you do, I wish you the best of luck and a good outcome.
thanks!
No first mistake is wearing gloves! Great way to get your hand removed!
Your first mistake, not calling a professional
hmmm...kind of missed the point😂
The grossest thing about this video is your wearing sandles instead of boots.
Root destroyer, 99% copper sulfate, every 6 months. Retired plumber
That worked for me for years, When I knew we were going to be gone a couple of days, I'd flush a load down and whatever stayed in the pipe.or on the roots, stay for a day or two till we came home.
yes, I agree that helps for sure
Should have gone to the local Ace Hardware and rented the heavy-duty one with the cutter head (about $40). All the coil did was rip out a small hole the size of the coil, a hole that will quickly fill with new root growth. For first-timers: turn on the water and keep the water level up (this will help flush out the line as you go). Feed the line in until you start to feel some resistance and then go very slowly, just a couple of inches at a time and allowing time for the cutting head to do it's work. With a big root blockage, you can grind and grind but the pipe will not clear until you pass the far-end of the blockage, whereupon the pressure of the backed-up water will power flush the line. Always run the cutter to the end of the line, you never know if there is a partial blockage down the line waiting to become a problem (if you don't have a camera). As a side note: root inhibitors are good for use in septic systems, but not so useful in city/county lines as they tend to wash away quickly with just a shower or a couple of toilet flushes. The best time to use one is in spring just after the leaves begin to bud (the time of maximum new root growth).
thanks! I just might try that before digging the pipe up...great tip with keeping the water running too...
Good to know.
I had the same problem. If you get it cleaned out one time by a real company with a big 3/4" snake then you can use your Harbor Freight snake with the big cutter twice a year and keep it clean.
Dig dig dig
plus /.....hammer, hammer, hammer, under the driveway, it appears.
from my measurements Ii think moat of the roots are right at the beginning of the driveway...hopefully I won't have to hammer🤞
You are very tough lady ,my heart goes out to you.thank you very much to share the experience how to use snake.
You did fine too point being care full Applause 👏 but Next time invest in tree saver belt and really long 1/2" minimum rope and Snatch block and hand winch for tension too were tree going get rope on tree first and set up with tension then make cut on tree like you did but more angle leave hinge in middle the cut back and watch it steer it with chain saw tree go too tension of rope pull. Here it cracking stop get out there.
thanks for the tips! I definitely want to get a snatch block and a hand winch for the future💥 ( If for no other reason than to tell people I own a snatch block and a hand winch😀)
