I saw your left handed throwing video and was curious ti see what your right handed mechanics were like. I was initially left handee as a thrower and pitcher when younger, but due to a hand injury and consistent shoulder pain I taught myself to throw right in my late 20s. NGL, it was quite hard to do initially... my issue is since I did so much pitching oriented training that I have poor mechanics throwing whilst I move. The 2 things that helped me most with velo and accuracy were taking a bucket of balls into an open field and just trying to yeet them as hard as I could, trying different things to see what resulted in further throws. Second thing is more pitching specific, which is standing facing away from the target take one step away from the target with the drive leg(back leg) so it lands sidewards, then reach your front leg towards the target, kind of like you are spinning to throw, forced me to learn the hip lead and torso-shoulder seperation. Awesome to see somebody my age trying to improve and enjoying life.

If you want a tip, try keeping your upper body back while your lower body leads. This is closer to a kinetic chain and puts more force behind the baseball!

I’m 27 and teaching myself to pitch. My nephews wanted me to pitch wiffle balls to them and that’s when I realized I suck. So now I’m teaching myself in the park so I can pitch for them.

try this. you are turning your shoulder too quick. Have a little patience going to the target. make your left pocket feel like it is going towards the target, then at the last moments, turn your hips towards the target then plant your front leg stiffly into the ground. When your foot plants into the ground that when you move your arm towards the target. when you release the ball, I want you think that your whips down and then back up like a whip.

Damn no way! Hope its not too expensive to replace it 🤦🏻‍♂️

I use to go to every AAA game here in Buffalo when Wakefield pitched here. Pitt had him practicing his knuckleball here for major leagues, then in a head scratcher released him to eventually end up in Boston! Saw him pitch against the Yankees ( my favorite team ) as a Red Sox starter. It was so much fun seeing his many pitches and the unpredictability of every pitch.

You are short arming your throws. Try bringing your arm further back when you throw. More speed and better control.
