I'm obviously biased. So I won't give any arguments for the TMNT line. Though if you are like most people, you may not realize just how extensive that line really was. As far as the other lines: Star Wars: Deserves a lot of credit for being the granddaddy of all licensed lines. I know there were licensed lines before Star Wars. But look how few lines exist after the launch of Star Wars that don't have media tie-ins. I do think that the line had two draw backs. The first is that they designed the line around vehicles first with the figures meant to be accessories to them. It meant that the figures were too small to really do the movie designs full justice and had to be limited to the 5POA, static pose form factor. I think that they were also limited a bit by being so faithful to the movies. Don't get me wrong, they did a great job of producing characters from the films. But with just under six and a half hours of material to work with, and that being spread out over seven years, let's just say that when I was finally old enough to get into Star Wars in the early 80's, they had milked that cow fairly dry. Ghostbusters: I loved the movies and the cartoon as a kid. And I would never want to besmirch a line from Kenner because their products were amazing. But as good as the individual releases for the Ghostbuster line were, the line as a whole just didn't seem to work well together. You had one major playset and vehicle, but they didn't make room for the vehicle to actually fit in the playset. They set one play pattern with the Ghostbuster figures (capturing the small ghosts that were included as accessories), but then they filled the toy line with ghost and monster figures that didn't really work with that play pattern. And apart from the initial offerings, the line never really seemed to give you anything recognizable from the cartoon or movie. Transformers: I love the Generation 1 Transformers license. It was one of only two comics I rad as a kid. (TMNT Archie Adventures being the other) And there were some amazing toys in that line, especially the early releases. But as toys, I don't think Transformers really came into its own until around the transition from Machine Wars into Beast Wars. The '84 and '85 releases were pretty great. But even then, most of the robot modes were pretty limited except where the transformation gave them additional articulation. But after the first two years when Hasbro had to start designing and producing their own figures, the level of detail seemed to drop as did the complexity and amount of articulation. And back at the time of release, they were far more expensive than other toy offerings on shelves. As a fan of G1 characters and mythology, Hasbro's releases over the last ten years is the G1 toy line(s) I've waited for for over 30 years.

I myself am a big transformers fan. I have a large collection of the toy line. So of course I agree with your no. 1 line. My 1st holy grail is my masterpiece rodimus prime. (Mp09 Rodimus Convoy) 2nd METROPLEX Transformers titan class Generations. Love you retro collection 👍👍👍

I have the YOLOPARK AMK Prime which I love, but like you stated he doesn’t transform so feels a bit lacking. I also purchased the Transform Element TE01 OP Leader, which is a fantastic G1 cartoon accurate Prime with masterpiece level engineering and transformation. The only downside is he doesn’t come with a trailer. I think they nailed SS86 Prime. He has a nice blend of everything which creates a very well-rounded figure

Just got mine in this weekend and it's so good. It just has one tiny problem. It looks so good in truck mode that I don't want to transform him back to robot mode, but it looks so good in robot mode I don't want to leave him in truck mode...I wish I had the cash to buy 2 of them, maybe I can get another one in the near future. I dont disagree with messages in shows but we as children had those to make us want toys and was that bad? Bluey and Cocomelon and Elmo promote education and understanding of the world around us and for our kids. LGBTQ+ is not an agenda but it is a lifestyle that is in our culture here in the US and worldwide. Kids who are exposed to it can be told how to be accepting because we still have people who can not accept Hispanics, African-Americans or anyone else. You as a parent can control the flow of information. What is wrong with a transgender Storm Trooper? What's wrong with a non-binary indigenous person being Hawkeye? Nothing. People are people. I have seen the theories about demonic/satanic influence in music. That has been a theory since the 60's and again, we all love what music we love. I listen to a lot of music and from Beethoven to Tupac and everything in between. I get your body is your temple but you can discern what "let in" and what you dont.

Nobody: Me: The best OP of all time is still Cybertron Leader. Although, I'm not that interested in the SS 86 design, it's probably the most affordable and solid Commander class figure to date. £92 on Amazon UK is not a bad deal, especially with the peace of mind that comes with returns and exchanges.

The best Optimus ever is the Magic Square Light of Peace. No big ass backpack and ass piece sticking out, and no hole in the back of the cab mode.

I love the figure as a Prime collector but I still rank Armada Optimus Prime and Commander Ultra Magnus slightly above him or at least on the same plane.

He is currently the most accurate and best readily available and affordable Prime right now. Aside from the trailer, I think the trailer is mid. I got mine for $60 on sale with some circle cash and he does what he's supposed to, look GREAT among my SS86 and Legacy figures. Finger crossed on a decent Megatron, but I'm most likely going to have to go third party.

As far as your loose joints go, there is some stuff called"kiki fix loose joints" Plus you can use clear fingernail polish which is what I use, just paint the whole joint and let it dry before you move it, and it'll last a good while. You will have to reapply it eventually, but it does a great job, and your Titans prime wheel stand up on his own. Another message you can use is pledge floor polish, I imagine it works about the same way as the fingernail polish, but I've never used it. Patriot prime reviews swears by it. But regardless, do yourself a favor and get one of those methods, it will make many of your figures much more enjoyable, especially the older ones. It'll take figures that you just dread even looking at, and turn them into desk toys.

Now you've made me curious, about how many primes I have in my collection. You have nine? Let me think on this. I have both versions of the studio series Bayverse Prime, I have the bumblebee movie Prime, and a KO rise of the beast from, Armada Prime of course, siege and earthrise, the studio series transformers 1 Prime, gamer edition Prime, I've got the Orion packs that came with a senator shockwave, legacy animated universe Prime, and that maybe it. I might be forgetting one or two, but I think I got them all. So that is, 10, 11 if you count Orion packs which you probably don't lol, so I win! I beat you by 1:00 buddy! Hahaha! My self-esteem has received an injection to make me feel oh so great about myself, I own about 11 more ounces of plastic than you do, WINNING! Lmao, means I get laid more often doesn't it? Ya know. I have him. Got him about a week ago. Now, I'm currently in the hospital, been here since the middle of August, but was so excited about this guy, I had him brought hers to me. That said, I've not had him in the collection yet. My G1 shelf currently has Siege Prime and my OP, and yeah I do own Earthrise, just don't care for him. I think in bot form Siege is the best .... Until now. Now comparing all the Commander class figures I have, which is every one besides ss86 Magnus, and magnetron. I missed out on Magnus. And had 0 interest in mags "lol like it? It's like megs but not". I do have a good many of the modern BW figs, but G1 is my passion. Hey Google! Let us post pics on comments here! Id show you guys Prime guarding my IV lol. Anyways, I'm honestly having a hard time finding the value here. I don't have him, but when I watch reviews on ss86 Magnus, I can't help but notice just how much more there is to him than Prime. I even consider Rosinus to be a much better value for money. His transformation is slightly more complex I think, and there's so much more to his trailer. Granted, I have a boneyard tub for my dozen trailer, but still lol. Moral of the story? I think we've all paid through the nose for this guy, and we know it. I think we've let it go, due to just how great he looks. I think they could've released him without the trailer, and made him a Leader class. Actually who knows? Maybe that's still an option. It's not a bad idea. Oh and hey guy! Gi grab yourself an OG armada prime, and talk to me about that "removableish" butt flap! Lol just saying

The Best Prime EVER? *Not with THAT backpack!* Also Prime's proportions look all bloated and "poofy". Like he's been indulging in too much salt lately, and carrying some extra water weight around. Also why are his "ears" so long? They're supposed to frame his head, kinda like a crown. Those things are closer to robo-bunny-ears or something. No sir. It's a Good Prime but, greatest? I don't think so.

Its the best Prime from Hasbro but definitely not the best Prime comparing to those from other brands. I personally love the Missing Link 01/02. To me, MP44 and Missing Link Primes are the best.
