Yeah the town centre in general is not what it used to be

I agree they should of just left it. Fleming way didn’t need touching it worked perfectly. All those millions should of gone into a new bus station or leisure centre. Don’t fix what’s not broken. The underpasses on queens drive are another prime example of our councils incompetence. I was born in this town 27 years ago but I feel so ashamed of it now

Yes they are filling it in and replacing with a toucan crossing. I’ve emailed the council back and forth for some leeway but they seem fixed on removing it. I use it often to walk into town
