Be The Change
มุมมอง 2053 ปีที่แล้ว
We are the change that we seek. This past year has laid bare the racial inequities that permeate every aspect of American society. The protests and backlash in response to the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor forced a reckoning on America’s treatment of the Black community. In response to those events, BLCK VC hosted the “We Won’t Wait” Event on June 4th, 2020. The “We...

This is super amazing information. In the middle of the presentation I was thinking like, "I don't need to go to school, cause the information is right here." Please continue to bring content on this channel and don't worry about view counts, don't even have to chase numbers cause this information is like a digital library for your audience and it accumulates like tribal knowledge. Ask for this channel to please stay engage because you're inspiring people and you don't know how deep the diversity of age, geographic location, languages, cross industries of who is really learning from your work. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤
How many companies you guys have funded that went public for all the panel members please? Thank you
what's with no comments?
Peak of the market for sure
If we took their advice on a deck. Uber, Coinbase and many others were super basic.
BLCK VC y'all getting "dragged-out" of the building. BLCK VC is not inclusive it's "boujee" EXCLUSIVE. Y'all didn't watch "Roots", and have forgotten where y'all from... I've applied to get onto the BLCK VC Scout Program a "zillion" times. On my last rejection email I was told by Samer Yousef, quote on quote..."A lot went into our decision, investment track record, and investment goals, for the following year. We also wanted to have geographic and professional background diversity, so that influenced how we made decisions.....Why the "Momofuko Ando" are you using segregational speak, like "geographic and professional background diversity" ? have you forgotten the demographic of your audience.

Chidozie received his first micro processor, a Siclair ZX Spectum (48 K Ram ) in the spring of ‘83 at 8 months. He was enrolled in the American School, Kaduna (pupil / teacher 11:2) at two and a half years and was able to master Texas Instruments Speak and Math at 3 Over the next six years his teachers were Alice Cooper and Mary Hargreaves. The later fueled his love for reading Chidozie received his first of multiple Commodore computers at 5 and was always coming up with activities to incorporate them . We arrived in the United States months short of his ninth birthday. He attended Minnie Gant Primary and Hughes Middle Schools in Long Beach California. He was the youngest pupil at Phillips Academy the year he enrolled as Grame Henderson Endowment Scholar.. His younger sibling has also proved to be Uber intellectually succeeding. Not withstanding their birth in Nigeria, they were provided exceptional environment and resources to be overwhelmingly successful. As their father I am engaged these days with helping raise my grandkids to succeed equally. For like Chidozie says “ the end depends on the beginning .“
super insightful, really appreciate it. Thanks
