I just took a temporary break for the Halloween stream and this week to finish RE2 ( though I ended up starting Neva since I wanted something different last night). Omgosh yes! I love all the characters we meet ;-; I wish I could have gone on more quests with Fox and Cat in the game. A small spoiler, but I'm bummed I did miss one NPC in the game in later part. I think I could hear her voice, but couldn't find her until eventually it was too late. ;-; But yeah this boss gave me such a hard time in this stream😭but thankfully in Part 3 I was able to beat them pretty early in the stream.

@@tamaslefey Oh her, yeah I missed her too on my first go, which is a shame since one of my favourite feelings in soulslikes is filling the main hub with people. Still, there is always next try. Yeah Fuoco, I love the reference and the design but he can get on my nerves too.

@@tamaslefey I was wondering why there were some vods missing XD. Well, for her, it will be kinda blind *knows about Malenia and some other stuff here and there but it is disjointed) but so far she is doing great. Well sorta, she beat Margit with Rogier and the jellyfish in about 5-7 tries but tree sentinel still gives her problems so it will be interesting. Also DLC was great. Speakign of Lies of P, Ill watch your vods on that next so eager to see how it went. Will be a nice refresher and prep for the dlc there, whenever it comes.

IT WAS SO AWFUL😭😂 I was like "the swamps in elden ring were not this bad". Like this was ROUGH, but I'm so glad I got through it! The boss was fun and satisfying to defeat.

@@tamaslefey And weirdly cute, somehow. The boss, I mean. Though to be fair to the swamp, I think it took advantage of your tactics, such as spreading the team a bit too far out and not having enough ranged damage dealers for the seathe in the slop, relying on woodcutters and ascetics more than spearmen, archers and marksmen. That and making 3 ascetics, then putting the ascetic in front of front liners and outside the boost circle. This one felt like the "anti-Tamas" level a bit XD. No barriers, seethe have a straight line to Yoshiro while we have to fear the miasma and no rations. As for the possession and the goop, Yeah I have tested it, once they happen, they last all night. Lastly, I think you forgot both shrine prizes in the marsh.

@@adekaiwamisou LMAO YES i thought the boss was weirdly cute too! Like some giant frog seethe (and I love frogs). But yeah the marsh was so against me omg😭😂 It really helped in the end when I kept everyone closer together, which allowed me to effectively use the shaman and switch ppl out back and forth between the front line and back when they got weak even without rations (lack of rations in this stage is SO CRUEL😂). Also omg did I? I'm pretty sure I picked them both up, I just decided not to use them since a lot of my talismans are for Yoshiro & villagers health.😮‍💨

@@tamaslefey Shaman did a lot of work for this one yeah. But yeah that marsh was cruel. Also, the possession guys. Hidarugami, I think. Whenever I hear that laugh, the extreme prejudice comes out and I gotta find that guy. And I am fairly certain you did. Give me a moment to give the time stamps as well.

@@tamaslefey At 2:18:29 for the first area 2:49:27 I was wrong you got the shrine on the second part of the stage, though with the back and forth in the saves of the stage, I am unsure. Luckily, you can check at which stages you have left behind unclaimed shrines in the stage selection map, chose "Play Again" and before it takes you to the stage it gives a screen to tell you about objectives, unopened shrines and Musubi buried treasures and some more. Easy to see.

@@tamaslefey All the more for getting the ability to upgrade Soh. Only thing is if you do it with Soh's original outfit, it gets upgraded from the simpler version before to the one now seen in the menu. A great visual detail of him getting back his power.

@@adekaiwamisou Oh it was such a game changer when they finally let you upgrade Soh! And AHH I should really change back to his original outfit to see the upgrades! I just love the Amaterasu outfit so much.🥺

@@tamaslefey Glad if I helped. :) Also, just in case some more tips from the Batsu episode: The command for attack and defence are only for boss fights and you may want to use a few more archers. They work wonders when they have a front liner, like the woodcutter, to protect them.

@@adekaiwamisou omg I just realized this was for the Part 2 stream😂But yes omg I think it took me until the latest stream to realize attack/defense was only for boss fights as well the upgrade undos.😭So yeah I was definitely confused for awhile! Thank you tho!💙

You might have only lit the torches for the regular ancestor spirit? There's two different sets of torches. One for the first spirit and another set in the area of the regal ancestor spirit. If you did already light all the ones for the second set then I'm not sure what else to do😢Your game might have had a glitch? Hopefully restarting the game or console helps in that case since you only need to light the correct torches to fight them. Good luck!

The thousand year voyage dialogue definitely gives me the impression an Empyrean is only supposed to rule for 1000 years, and that Marika the Eternal might just imply she's reigned for longer than that.

@tamaslefey I think the intention was for her rule to be forever, but I get the vibe the power doesn't really work like that. I also have considered she intended to hand the reigns to Godwyn and still ruled in her own right, but thats mostly vibe-based from GRRM overbearing mother and heir sons writing lol
