We Moved to Kotor PT. 2 | Montenegro Road Trip VLOG: Žabljak + Ostrog Monastery
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today I’m sharing our second week, living as expats, here in Kotor, Montenegro while our boys attend the WorldSchool Hub session put on by Boundless Life.
If you don’t know what Boundless Life is all about, you should go back and watch the first 3 videos in this series (linked at the bottom).
This week was extra special because we went on a roadtrip over the weekend to Žabljak, Durmitor National Park, Tara Canyon, and the Ostrog Monastery with a few of the other Boundless families.
Boundless Life also has hubs in Spain, Italy, Greece, Indonesia, and Portugal. They offer 3 month sessions during the school year, 1 month long sessions during the summer, and 3 week sessions during the month of December

There is literally a sign at the springs that asks NOT to post them on social media threatening that they will make them unavailable to the public. I get that nature is for everyone, but social media is ruining these treasured spots and soon we will have none left. Gatekeeping is truly what is best for the environment. Let people find these on their own. Please respect the private property owners and delete your video.
So what ! Oh should I say your so lucky !!!!
Adorable 🥰🥰🥰
and learned to speak more slowly so people could understand you? Sorry, but I have no idea what you said for a lot of that, it sounded like a record speeded up!🫤
Pretty cool how they build their homes in the rock
This looks so fun!!! 🤩 Such a cool experience you were able to give your kids and family!!! Love that they have a video project! I bet your kids rocked that one!! 🙌🙌🙌
they had a blast!!
She doesn't think the Netherlands is safe to walk around with her children with all those cyclists around her. Let her walk around where she comes from (not in her car), she can't even cross the street, she walks from parking lot to parking lot without a real sidewalk.
We definitely found the cyclists to be dangerous in Amsterdam as they do not slow down or yield to pedestrians as they do in the USA.
SNEL NEDERLANDS LEREN SPREKEN !!!!!!!!!!!
We found most people spoke English, but we did learn a few words!
Love watching you guys. Your DR videos inspired us and ended up with us moving to Las Terrenas and having our kids at a fantastic international school called ISLA. God bless you guys and keep the content coming!
That is so awesome! Las Terrenas has such a fun vibe - I wish we could have spent more time there when we were in the DR. I’ve only just recently heard of ISLA. Do you love it??
@@LivingUnconventionally It’s an amazing project based school that’s outdoors off Bonita beach. 🏝️ Our kids love it and so do we.
Great fun video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Ouray is a mountain paradise ⛰️
Great video, we are thinking of going to San juan del Sur for a month in may. Can you touch on food costs and transportation costs from the border of CR as well as locally? Thanks
I would say food costs can be as cheap or as expensive as you want them to be. It’s definitely cheaper than Costa Rica which has American prices. In San Juan del Sur, you can find American priced restaurants on the water, but you can also find cheap local food in town. A place we really loved was the ding repair cafe. It wasn’t “cheap”, but it was probably 75% of the cost of typical American breakfast spots, and it was super nice and healthy! We grabbed a cab right away at the border to San Juan del Sur, and I believe it cost us $50 as a family of 4. The ride took maybe an hour and a half
Why are people telling you all these fake stuff you are safe to go and tour Jamaica anytime. It’s like anywhere in the world just be vigilant and trust your guts.
That’s what I like to hear! It seems like the resorts want to scare tourists into staying on site so they just spend money there instead of supporting local economy
Can you tell me exactly how to get here please
I can’t give you the “exact”, but this video has all the clues you need to find it 🙂 happy adventuring!
We camped there last time!!!!!!!!!!!!😂🎉❤
It’s so beautiful up there! We definitely want to go back
Hey I love your videos, I’m heading to Cartagena In a few weeks!!! Question How did you find the boat tours for the islands?? And what restaurant would you recommend to eat in Cartagena. Not a picky eater at all here haha. :)
There were people pushing the boat tours all over the place! We just went into one of the little tour offices and booked it - super cheap! But also, we were packed in like sardines so there might be a better option out there. No restaurants stand out to me as they were all good in the old city area; however, expect them to be more expensive than the rest of Colombia
Next time make more time to travel outside Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a nice Dutch amusement park but the Netherlands is more than Amsterdam.
I’ve heard that! I would really love to see more of what this country has to offer, but with only 4 days as a layover, I think we packed in as much as we could!
My father was born on St. Thomas and I've lived there on and off throughout my life. So glad you enjoyed your time there. The beaches will spoil you!
Seriously! The Virgin Islands have some of the best beaches in the Western Hemisphere 😍
What are they eating from the ocean?
Tiny shrimps!
Must be rare to find one where some government official isn’t collecting money to enter nature?
A blessing for sure 👍
@@LivingUnconventionally lmk where it’s at 🤣, Jk I hope nobody finds it but I sure hope I find one someday! I am in Michigan so probably none here!
@@bobbyjohnson5637 it’s on Google maps! It’s called red hill hot springs. There is another one a mile down the road on private property that you do have to pay for, but it’s pretty cool. It’s called mystic hot springs. It has a bunch of bath tubs you can sit in
I love a good birth story! Thanks for sharing
I feel so grateful for how this one went 💓
I live in Ouray and I hate it right now but I bet I’ll want to live here when I’m older! (Im 14!)
@@EmilyUnverferth when I was 14, I hated it too. As I got older, I came to realize how special it was to be from such a tight knit community. There is camaraderie that comes from being from there. Were your brothers in the waterfights this year?🙂
Please learn to pronounce “Cotes d’azure”. You don’t pronounce s after cotes it is cot
I learned that eventually 😅
South Park
lol not quite
Awe this was so cool to watch.. again I’m so happy for you guys. She is absolutely beautiful..
Thanks!
How’s Ocean doing with traveling? Is she a go with the flow kinda gal?
She’s a great little traveler
Awesome! Can you give me more info about the World Schooling Hub?
Sure! Check out “the hive” online, or send me a dm on Instagram so I can forward you their information
You seriously are calling it CANIS? I can't even watch this video that's ridiculous
I learned how to pronounce it eventually!
What is the cost for this type of program?
When we visited in January-February 2023, the cost for a 6 week program was $1300 which included lunch and a snack but not accommodation. That is cost per student. It’s probably increased slightly since then. All of the hubs are different in cost though!
We love a good all-inclusive!! We usually book them with points to help with the cost!!! We love that it’s a true vacation!! Oh my gosh!!! Kids club!! My kids love a good kids club too!!! And no better place than friendly Jamaica!!! 🇯🇲 ❤ aww so fun that they have the Sesame Street characters!!! Now that’s a water slide!!!! How fun!!! Too bad mama had to sit that one out 😭😭 Look at you mama, sailing while pregnant!! 🙌🙌🙌 Aww tennis lessons?? What a cool activity!!! Look at them go! 🎾🎾🎾🎾 Aww the boys are so cute on the kayak!! Snorkeling is always so fun too!! Great vacation guys!! Thanks for taking us with youuuu!!!
Hahah it was such a fun resort! It put the next one we went to to shame 🫣
I visited playa Santa Teresa a week week ago and I love it
Such a beautiful beach!

Great job guys Children need to be in an environment like this because electronics take valuable time from them. 👏👏👏👏
You are right! It’s so refreshing to see a bunch of kids running barefoot in the forest and not sitting on iPads
Excelent, video
Thanks! The Dominican Republic has so many amazing places
Yay! It was a fantastic trip!❤
Yes it was!
How about just going to the camps listed on their website... 🙄
Yes… I’m just saying they are few and far in between (especially if your goal is the ring road)
Love from Paris Your family is wonderful !!!! 🇫🇷🇺🇸

Thanks! We went in August 2023. I was first there back in May 2016. It was so cool to go back with my family. 🥰 when is your trip??
@@LivingUnconventionally that’s cool! We’ll be in Paris in 2 weeks. We’re going with our 1.5 old toddler. I’m anxious about pickpockets, have you guys encountered those?
No

It is! And not crowded which is hard to find in many places these days.
This has been so much fun following your travels.those two littles of yours are seriously so adorable. I can hardly wait to meet the little miss!
Thank you!
I’ve also subscribed and my two kids and I love your channel and the adventures. One question, what backpacks do you use with the kids?
Hi there! We use the Deuter Fox 30L backpacks, and they are awesome. Our kids are 5 and 6, and they are still growing into these. I expect them to have them for a very long time. Here is the link: www.deuter.com/us-en/shop/backpacks/p612097-children-s-backpack-fox-30
My favorite part of traveling is the excitement from the kids!!! It not always the easiest but is soooo worth it!
agreed! Kids make every adventure so much more rewarding. I love seeing the world through their eyes :)
I hope you went to cabarrete, beautiful place 👌 l really recommend.... god bless you guys
