Noble concept. It is slightly confusing as the blue line does not perfectly match the road. This needs some sort of basic lane detection so the blue line matches the road.

That 70 speed limit in the beginning over half of the screen is really distracting. This should be small sign in far away and gradually getting bigger. If I'd look on screen and see something like this I'd go for breakes thinking I'm over speed limit.

After my lifetime of driving over Europe without any navigating device, I purchased a Garmin mainly to get acquainted with contemporary technology. With my new 10“ Tablet almost 10 years ago the story was just the same. Later, on Google Play, I ran over the Sygic Aura software free to download so I got a trial. It performed quite good even comparing to the professional product, so I tried the HUD and the RealView, too. As time ran, I found I am using the RealView (now v17.7.0) almost exclusively. I needed a different tablet holder to have the touchscreen in my reach and the rear camera displaying the right range of the chaussée in front of the vehicle. After proper rectifying the display view with the dynamic route symbol (good point, the video here is NOT carefully rectified) the impression and data fullness brought to me by Sygic is very satisfying if not blissful. It is quite a different feeling driving the car and having the big RealView screen as a support on the edge of the field of one’s view. Those who stare here on this demo video only simply cannot get the real impression.

Você teria seus dois olhos na pista não na tela do celular, logo pode esquecer acidentes e confusão, a ideia é que no momento em que o comando de voz não for suficiente, uma rápida olhada na tela sirva pra entender o que você tem que fazer. I love Sygic and use it everytime I drive. But this is bullshit. It is close to impossible to get valuable information from what we see. We are overwhelmed by information. The blue line is enormous. Many times the line was pointing towards the right but you had in fact to continu straight. This can lead to accident. The best and close to perfect indication about on what lane you should be, etc... are GPS from Garmin. Look at video about those GPS on youtube, on complex junctions, the GPS tells you exactly where you must be on the lane and this hundreds of meter ahead. However Garmin use NavTeq traffic if I'm not wrong, and you must have a smartphone, pair your GPS on your smartphone by Bluetooth, it is a pain in the ass. And Navteq traffic is bad. Sygic uses Tomtom maps and Tomtom traffic, the best in the world, so I'm using Sygic. Sygic also indicates you on what lane you must be but it is inferior to Garmin and what I reproach to them, they tells you on what lane you must be really late. When Sygic gives you this indication, if you are alone on the road it is ok but in case of heavy traffic, you can miss the right exit, because you don't have time to change lane quickly due to traffic. And Garmin also has a almost perfect match of road panels. I mean what you see outside is perfectly the same on your GPS screen. So again another way to exit the correct way and not miss anything. Well, no GPS is perfect, to achieve that, we should have one which brings very good functions from many GPS programs and use them all. So thanks a lot for this video but completely useless for me and even very dangerous.

unless you put like a lot more work into this do not i repeat DO NOT release this this is actually dangerous you will send someone the wrong way or even cause a crash this should be early beta and a finished product

you guys at Sygic are improving, features are good, please test them in real life environments, not just on the highways but take it to the internal routes of a city, I have a full life subscription but your features dont work when expected, maps are not uploaded on time, i know you take services from TomTom for the maps, however the maps are either outdated or old. You seem to think only Europe is your customer. recommend you test the applications and its features well before releasing an update and just giving discounts to on board customers will do more damage to your reputation when life is endangered by using your applications.

Some advice for Sygic developers: I don't think that this is a really good idea this way. It can be dangerous, if the driver starts permanently looking at the screen, not realising the delay in the system. - might be better, if this view only kicks in when several lanes are on the road, and you have to choose one. - better image recognition would be needed to identify the lane more precisely - must be made super smooth. For example, the flickering of the tail of the line is absolutely distracting. The line is too blocky and jagged now, should be made by more polligons. Avoid any abrupt redrawings, better not drawing the line at all in wrong place than doing it uncertainly, then suddenly change it later. This is misleading to the driver, which is very dangerous. - The line is too "solid". Make it more "soft", more transparent. Maybe some narrow line on the center could be more visible, while the blue band with transparency could highlight the lane. - config option to have a PIP-like map section view somewhere on the image, or PIP image somewhere on the map view. - every aspect I mentioned above should have a config option, so the user can decide.

The "Trail" line is toooooooo loooooooong...just reduce it or give the end user the ability to set their own. This would fix the confusion of a crazy looooooong tail line to follow.
