    Know whats cool Sir? Im about to set mine up too; and we have the exact same weather and rain here in Des Moines. 😁 I was just searching to find different ideas in the way people do theirs. I watches these sell from $89, to $75, $68 and yesterday it was $56. I couldnt walk away from that. I will be using mine indoors. I am not to worried about longevity, but seeing this being two years ago, how has yours held up? Im going to use mine for a cactus garden, so i need to get creative in how i want to make a shelf inside. I really only need 6 to 7" soil max. A bag of lava rock is much lighter than a bag of dirt, to maybe that would be best. Anyways, thanks for your video. Its nice to watch a plain & straight forward video.

    I have to disassemble one. Do the legs pull right off, or do they actually lock into position when you assembled it so they cannot be removed?

    looks like Fusarium Wilt and your tomatoes in the background look like they have it too. Nasty stuff, no cure... pull out and put in trash, not compost.

    Did anything grow in this bed? I have two for two years and can't get anything to grow. Moved it around the yard, tried everything.

      I grow herbs in mine and it works out well for me. It may be your soil. Pesticides are a big problem. Unfortunately we have to be very careful on our sources of soil and amendments.

      I only use miracle grow moisture control soil, and miracle grow fertiliser...had no problems..in full sun

    I can’t figure out how to pull the drainage plug out 😅 is it supposed to stay in but pull out a bit? Or do you pull the plug out completely?

      Yes it stays in place. It just pops out a little bit. Do not remove the plug.

      Just add water to the soil the little flower will go up when full.

    I have plastic fence and the rabbits chew big holes in it, now I put chicken wire on the bottom to keep the critters out. My main garden has wire fencing but a raccoon climbs over the top, it won't be back LOL!

      No, I would not. I would use this for herbs only. Large plants that you spoke of would be a disaster I believe.

      I grew ghost pepper, two tumbling tomatoes and herbs in mine, no problems...would not put in large tomatoes. Mine were meant for containers and they did well.

      I was able to keep the animals out of the peanuts. My peanut harvest was very poor. I am trying again this year but planting this time in the raised bed. Fingers crossed.

    Great video and seed collection :) I have started my saved pepper seeds from last years fruits which I cross pollinated to make them more unique and hopefully healthier.     I have got some pepper seeds germinating for this year. I have my latest yt video showing all my pepper seeds which are crosses of Bell, Ramiro and Jalapeno. It's great saving your own seeds especially if you crossed them because you can enjoy the fruits again and the seeds have some history.

Here is a snap of one of them which is from an Orange Bell and a Red Jalapeno th-cam.com/video/rUKXaQ6yTr0/w-d-xo.html It had some nice heat on it and there was a good amount of fruit to enjoy. There will be more coming soon which I will show in my February update.
