Just finished the game. It was an interesting and fresh experience. It had some issues though. Driving gets tedious, especially when there are people shooting at you. Seriously, I thought the constant attacks in the newer games were annoying but this was on another level. You can’t even shot while driving. Missions get boring real quick. Game is crashing every 10th time I try to save. Still enjoyed the game. I want a remake but that won’t ever happen.

They dropped the ball with how fast they went through the story. There should have been a story in between 2& 3 showing humanity getting to the point where they're at less than 5% of what they used to be.

The Resistance Trilogy were awesome games and a perfect example of how good old Sci-Fi single player games used to be. Action, a fleshed out story and characters, fun gameplay, everything you could want. Except, one thing, I wish the origin of the Chimera was explored a bit more. The species were here before humans but where did they come from and why did they go extinct. Where did portals lead and could they come back? I would love another Resistance game, sequel.or remake. Great video man, thoroughly enjoyed it.

The most underrated game series in my opinion. I played this with my dad when ps3 came out when I was 10. Love it so much I even spend weeks writing storylines after the events of Fall of Man

Just bought a used ps3 to play this game series and killzone also. It turns out that my ps3 cant boot resistance 1 and 2 and ps3 emulator is to much heavy for my pc. You saved me. After seeing the first and second part I started to play resistance 3 finally

Resistance 2 was like apart of my childhood I spent years on co-op 10 out of 10 would do again if they remade it. Soldier, marksman and medic the holy trinity!!!!!!

Man my experience of this game is walking/running a lot, shooting a lot, driving a lot, dringkin malaria medicine a lot, buddy missions a lot, enemies everywhere a lot and the sound of roaring vehicles when they find you still haunts me to this day. 10/10 would play again

Great trilogy, played very recently. To answer what you asked, yes, Hale is the second human with Chimeran dna injected into him, that is why he remains “human” when he fully turns at the end of R2

I think the story had potential to be one of the best in the series but the potential was not fully realised. Another issue with the story is how quickly the actors say their lines (I think one of the actors confirmed that the devs made the actors talk too quickly) and The Jackal having a stereotypical gruff bad guy voice combined with his fast talking undermined an interesting character. If Ubisoft ever decides to remake Far Cry 2 they should keep the gameplay mostly untouched (because the gameplay is the main reason why people like this game) but they should redo the story. I think they should hire Nicolas Cage to play The Jackal because I have a feeling Ubisoft used Nicolas Cage's character from the 2005 film Lord of War as an inspiration for The Jackal. Plus Nicolas Cage himself is open to acting in video games since he appears in Dead by Daylight as a DLC character.
