Technically, the foster parents have every right to restrict access because they are the legal guardians, but that doesn't mean that they should. It really does depend on what restrictions the foster parents wanted to place. I mean, just because the bio parents gave the technology doesn't mean a predator won't try to take advantage.

I'd have offered her a couple of pieces, but after she went public, no way! NTA, the foster parents are too strict. With that said, they should be fostering a more trust-worthy environment, encouraging their foster kid to talk with them about anything & everything without censure, shaming, or condemnation (provided it's not actually shame-worthy, such as worshipping f@sc!sm & other forms of bigotry would be). The foster parents missed out on a great opportunity to help educate this kid on the dangers of the internet and how to act & react to protect themselves, which are valuable life tools. Normally I would love a dog being there but it’s YOUR house and there’s obviously boundaries of what the dogs training covers and if it makes people uncomfortable or makes a mess then I’d say keep them in an enclosed space or don’t bring the dog
