Bellami is a genius.. i don't like everything he does.. but he did some truly masterpieces.. ... i'm not very subtil right now but i will say what crosses my mind without being able to be precise ... .. from what i remember right now.. while in 1942 a genius built 'sun houses'.. for an independence in energy.. a bright smart future in the making.. but at some moment.. some others took the wrong decision of the direction to take.. reversing the progress.. making houses depending on electricity.. promoting energy production with coal.. oil.. stinky lobbies at work.. trapping a great nation of freedom into a spiral of production, possession, control of oil producing countries.. creating wars.. the vicious never ending spiral of always needing more.. a nation i loved for the good reasons.. freedom.. it is the place with the most freedom i've ever known.. where everything is possible.. and then all extremes, with everything in between, can exist.. being good or bad.. .. i might come back on this.. .. unfortunately nearly the entire planet functions in this system of producing, consuming.. always more... and we've reached the doorstep of total destruction.. it will take only one decade to know the fate of life on earth.. the answer is already clear though.. humanity brainwashed in consuming.. consume everything and anything.. too few are willing to face the problem.. to change.. the vast majority will just not hear the reality.. they will keep on walking like good little citizens of our consumer-societies... filling their shopping carts with too much food.. with industrial products.. with dead animals.. with 100 kinds of cleaning products.. only a minority cares about the destruction of wildlife.. nature.. animals.. 60% of wild animals are already totally extinct.. the ecosystem is being destroyed every day a little more.. but look at everyone still running like ants.. you wave with a flower.. they don't even notice you anymore.. so our life on earth goes.. and goes.. and goes.. and goes away... ... love his 'exogenous symphony'!
