Ok, I'm a little confused on something. Is the doll who writes the letter a robot of sorts, or am I just being stupid and assuming shit?
I believe in Violet Evergarden, Auto Memory dolls used to be machines, however over time, they also started employing real women to be auto memory dolls as these machines were really expensive & hiring people made it more accessible to the masses. (I don't know because I never watched this anime LOL)
