@@irenek2k20 I got those from Amazon, the best price is the 6 pack of 5 gallon jugs.
I just found your channel - can i get January's newsletter

Thank you
I’m very late joining but I’m here. Your pantry looks amazing by the way. I’m very new to prepping but I see how necessary it is. Thanks for the challenge- I’m excited to play catch up!
❤
When you store grains like oats, rice, wheat, and beans also, be sure you get organic or you'll have toxic glyphosate on hand
I just found you! Glad to be on board 🙂
Really enjoying your videos, Vicki! Doug and I are keeping up and learning a lot! We would love February's newsletter! :D

@@CarrietsHouseAndGarden it’s a challenge that an emergency prep group I’m in did in 2024. With the permission of the person that created it.
Oh my! I quoted the pantry can for that. The #10 can is for $79. Thanks for catching that. I’ll update that on my week 3 video. The price is from the January sale-delivery prices.
How did you get the thrive life beef for 31.50 for the #10 can it shows for like $110
Good job…I’m binge watching ALL your videos. Good screen presence and you explain information very well. I like how you ’get to the point’

Thank you for showing us how the foods look
CORRECTION - Moths WILL eat wool! It is actually the moth larvae that eat the wool. They are actually called "Wool Moths".
Thank you so much, I will make that correction on Week 3 video. I think I was going on something my Mom told me about why they like the wool blanket...thanks.
Thank you, Vickie! Motivating us to take action :) Love your sweet ending - you clearly care about sharing this info to help people!
Wonderful Vicki! I would love to get your newsletter! Hope to see you soon!!! :D
Wool is good because it will keep you warm even if it gets wet, but be advised-Moths will eat wool! That's why moth balls come in handy. One of the Best places to get wool blankets are military surplus stores.
I will make that correction on week 3 video. Thanks!
Thank you this was a very informative video. Great idea to have shoes by the bed and a flash light 🙂
That’s good to know. That moths won’t eat wool!🙂
I was incorrect in saying that moths won't eat wool. So sorry...Wool blankets are good even when they are wet! Will make that correction on week 3.
Good vid. Think i will get one of those backpacks that i fam drag when i dont want it on my back!!!!

I just need an email address.
Looks amazing can't wait to try it!
Great job, Vicki!
Hello! Cute!
Thank you for this comparison - I enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I tried most of them before (individually or smaller containers) except for Mountain House. I gave away all of them except Thrive. I'm glad to know that Mountain House is a good alternative!
Thank you for reviewing these buckets. With so many choices out there, this really helps me make a decision for my needs.
I used pliers on a few other buckets!!
I use pliers to open thosr tabs i dont like ready wise buckets. Portions are not what they say.
Good thing you werent in an emergency trying to get it open!!!!!!!! Myself i would split those bags up and not cook entire bags!!!!and i would put 5oz cans of meats at least ,if not 10- 12 oz meat cans. I do hav both chicken and beef and a few pork cans.
You are so right. There was a huge pan of soup. An hour later, it was thick and my husband ate it like a rice side dish. (With Texas Pete on it!!)
Thank you for doing this. If you had to feed a large group at a time this bucket would work. However, if you only had to feed a few people there would be too much. There would be no way to refrigerate the leftovers...
This is so helpful! Thank you!
Not gonna lie, it was pretty good for coming from a pouch. I could have eaten the whole bag!
It was pretty good!
Thank you for your review on these products I had never heard of these before.❤
Thanks for watching. Another one coming today. Bucket 5!
I love me some biscuits and sausage gravy!
If you add the brand your reviewing your views will go way up. Algorithm will help you.
@@ExploreAmerica thanks. I’m still so new at this and have not reached a good comfort level.
Thank you for your efforts
It looked a lot better after setting up for awhile. Not a fan of ReadyWise, but in desperate times, I'll eat it. Have a small bucket I got from Costco.
Only comment is: Wish I could have seen your face during the tasting, lol! (Oh, and what's the sodium content? I have high blood pressure so I need to pay attention to that.) GREAT JOB, Vicki!!
@@juliejunod9079 I’m still an amateur at this video stuff but thanks for the comment. I had actually thought that as I was doing it but didn’t want to stop and move the camera. I’ll check the sodium.
720 mg sodium in both those meals.
@@vicki4-1-1 Thanks, Vicki! Love your videos - it's so cool learning from someone I feel I know, and I sure do admire!!
@@juliejunod9079 awe thanks. ☺️
Yep, had to boil and filter water for months and months after a fire disaster. Had to have water brought in storage tanks before our water company was able to clean up the water. I store laundry water too...😀
We had to show paper proof of residency to get back onto our property after a disaster. Required docs were 3 months prior of utility bills, deeds, mortgage payment, insurance bill etc. Many people didn't have these paper docs. So it's a good idea if you do only online bill/pmts to print out bills every few months or download on a memory card to print later. Also making any claims with insurances you will need all these docs and possibly even bank statements proving you paid etc...which we had to do...Also good idea to itemized your valuables before you don't have them anymore for insurances reasons...Insurances companies are not fun to work. They will require you to itemize your lost things before they pay out, been there, done that!
