Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Cream Cheese Pound Cake
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sour cream, room temp
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups sugar
1 tbs vanilla extract
3 sticks butter, softened
6 large eggs, room temp
Powdered sugar, optional
💗Preheat oven to 325. Butter cake pan.
💗Beat butter for 2 min. Add cream cheese & mix for 1 min. Add sugar & mix. Add sour cream & vanilla extract & mix until creamy.
💗Add eggs 1 at a time. Add flour, baking powder, & salt. Mix until combined but don’t over mix.
Pour batter into cake pan & bake for 1.5 hrs. Cool for 10 min before removing from cake pan & allowing cake to cool completely.
💗Dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!

At some point you’ve added so many spices that many conflict with eachother and you can’t even taste the beef.
Not true at all & if u look up any authentic oxtail recipe, they all use the same spices. But feel free to limit your seasonings to your liking 😊
