What is the name of the color you put in your shower steamers?
I picked up the color from the soap and candle making section at Hobby lobby, I don’t know the name. But I use Mad Micas for my bath bombs and soaps.
Thank you for sharing, LOVE IT. you are amazing, great tutorial ❤
Thank you so much, I appreciate your kind words!
Hi,I love this video, thanks for share it, I want to know what is the price that you sell them, thanks Veronica
Hi, I am glad you like the video, thank you for watching. I sell it at $3 per piece.
How long would you say they take to dry out?
I normally leave it out for 24 hours.
Where did you get the press from the mould ?
I got the press mold from Amazon.
Shower steamers seem like the most useless product! All that wonderful expensive essential oil going down the drain to no benefit. My advice would be to get yourselves an oil burner and place it in your bathroom to burn while showering. You only need a few drops and you will get hours of aromatherapy. You can even add more water without adding more oil and it last way longer than this useless product. I wonder who came up with this? All for profit I presume?
Well it is each to think for themselves. I do not feel that shower steamers are a waste of money, I think it is really useful when you have a blocked sinus, a headache, a fever and things like that. The oil warmer takes time to heat up the essential oils but a shower steamer is activated as soon as hot water is sprayed on it. Oil warmers need to be monitored as there is a there is a risk of the oil overheating and catching fire (has happened with me), there is no such risk with a shower steamer. Shower steamers are a safe and wonderful to use in the shower.
@ I’ve been using oil burners for years and have had none of them “catch fire”. I’m pretty sure the steam from the shower would make its chances very low of burning. Also, they literally heat up in no time at all, even with the small tea light candles you will smell them in less than 5 minutes. It’s just a small amount of water and oil in them. By the time you undress and after setting up your bathroom they will be ready. But yes, like you said “to each your own”. It just seems useless to me, especially value wise. I think the candle light would add to a serene ambiance for the spa like environment. You can use it for a bath or short shower. I really enjoy and prefer the flame 🔥
I was about to give up on project when saw your video. Easy measurements, moulding tool, thank you! Can you tell me if adding polysorbate 80 how much and when would you add? I am hoping to teach people with disabilities to do this.
Thank you for watching. You can add 0.5 to 1% of the total weight of your batch of Polysorbate 80. It can be added when you add your essential oils. Hope that helps.
Thank you ❤
Can you use liquid food colouring as a colouring agent?
I wouldn’t recommend food coloring in body products of any kind. In a shower steamer it could leave stains on your bathroom floor or bathtub .
How long do you let them dry and how do you package?
I normally let it sit overnight if the weather is dry, otherwise I let it dry for 24 hours before I pack it. I have a video of how I pack my shower steamers for which the link is studio.th-cam.com/users/videoWs6wAOUCrLU/edit
Ok mam when u share 😀 I'm waiting for your recipe actually i like this recipe but it's gel based consistency and they don't suitable for my dry & damaged dull frizz hair that's why i told u about creamy texture shampoo formulation mam ☺️❤️😊
Can u please share herbal moisturizing shampoo recipe for dry hair mam I want creamy texture please share this type Shampoo 😢 I like this type of recipe ❤❤❤
I currently do not have a recipe for a creamy texture. I will post it when I develop the recipe.
Mam please say this shampoo recipe suitable for dry and damaged dull frizz hair i like herbal shampoo 🧴 formulation like this so please say this shampoo recipe suitable for my hair
I wouldn’t say it is bad for dry frizzy hair, but you need to pre-treat with hot oil before wash and condition after washing. You can tweak the recipe a little to suit your hair type like adding extra hibiscus or flaxseed.
Citric acid use in this soap for what pls?
Citric Acid helps with lather in hard water.
Hw to use tell me
Place it on the floor of your shower. There are TH-cam videos to show you how to use it.
What a good tip use a muffin tray. Very good demonstration and informative. Thank you from an Australian
Thank you so much.

Can you list the ingredients you use
I don't have a scale to measure grams for the menthol/alcohol, can you convert those measurements please
Maybe you can try google converter to find measurements as per your needs.
Lovely ❤ what is the name of that press please
Thank you for watching. The press is called a Mooncake Press.
@@itssimpleartisansoaps5694 thank you
You should always add fragrance at the end. Otherwise it will accelerate trace.
Because of your accent, it is difficult to understand you. Please speak louder
Thank you for the review. I will try to be louder going forward.
Thank you for taking the time to do this experiment. Very interesting. I heard it does fade over time.
You are right, it does fade over time.
😂
I know it was a disaster making it but the end result is too good. My daughter uses it everyday day. She had her friends over and they made their lip gloss themselves with this recipe 😁
@itssimpleartisansoaps5694 that's awesome! Made me think of times like that with my daughter. 💕So glad the recipe worked out! Made me feel better about my own disasters 😆 best to you!
Looks like a great recipe! Is it very drying? I'd be interested in your castile soap version too. So glad to see you again 😊
Hello, nice to hear from you again. It is not drying at all but I use this handwash recipe in my kitchen so I need something that will remove any kind of oil or odor from my hands that is why I didn’t use any oils except for vitamin e oil. I will surely put up the Castile soap recipe as well, that is milder and I use that handwash in my washroom for washing my hands. But I make sure to moisturize my hands as soon as I feel that my hands are dry. Thank you so much for watching.
Thank you for sharing
Did you say milk powder? What kind and where do you get it?
Yes, I used unsweetened milk powder. I got it from Walmart, you can get it from any store. You can also use unsweetened goat milk powder or buttermilk powder.
I see here that the color changed from blue to brown
Where did you bought the blue butter fly peas powder
I got the powder from Amazon.
Citric acid doesn’t stop lye work?
It does that is why extra lye is added.
Your shower steamers are beautiful..thank you for that recipe also!!
Thank you ❤️
Thank you so much for this recipe, I will try it as my daughter and grandson have allergies every spring. I will listen again to be sure the amounts I am using are correct as you changed up a little but thank you and I have subscribed to your channel
Thank you

❤ 1st time i see someone using the Moon Cake moulds... love your videos and thank you so much for sharing your precise ingredients
hi, great video and explanation. but for me, cracking and splitting occurs. be of strange shapes. Are they too wet or dry? I don't know what I'm not doing well
Hi, I am not too sure what could be causing the shower steamers to crack, maybe too dry because in my experience when it is too wet they fizz and form warts. It is ok to not get it right the first time, it took me many attempts and recipes to get it right.
@@itssimpleartisansoaps5694 Thank you
i can see the color its very pretty
thank you i love this
Hi, where did you get your moon press from? I want to try these
I got it from Amazon.
Hi! Where did you get your hand mixer?
I got my hand mixer from Brambleberry.
Sometimes the top my shower steamers get stuck in the mold. Do you know why? And how I cam fix it. Your shower steamers look perfect.
The reason for the shower steamers to be stuck in the mold could be that it is too dry or the mixture has less binding agents. Try to make it more wet or if the mixture is wet enough then try adding some extra cornstarch or cream of tartar to the mixture.
Did you say 50g of ewax ma'am?
Yes. 50 gms of ewax
I don't really know how you ended up on my feed but im greatful cos you are such a good teacher and very generous. You just earned yourself a new subie, God bless you😊❤
Thank you so much. I am happy you found the video helpful.
You look so beautiful! May God continue to bless you. Enjoy your day
Thank you so much 😊
Do you use the large cake press?
No, I use the small moon cake press for shower steamers.
Where to get menthol chips
Menthol crystal can be got on Amazon.
Just subscribed, thank you for sharing 🙏❤
Thank you 😊
Is there a place I can find your recipe? Your video is the best I have seen so far! Thank you
Hi, I have the recipe on my Patreon account. The link for the account is: patreon.com/user?u=82029577. thank you for watching.
What kind of mold press is that?
It is mooncake press.
I followed your recipe but when I’m at the bottom of my mixture it feels dry and doesn’t hold anymore and I ruined it when I sprayed some more water 😅 what did I do? The first ones are perfect tho…
I am so sorry to hear that the last few didn't set properly, at times the weather plays a major role. I don't like to make shower steamers and bath bombs when it is humid.
