    Shower steamers seem like the most useless product! All that wonderful expensive essential oil going down the drain to no benefit. My advice would be to get yourselves an oil burner and place it in your bathroom to burn while showering. You only need a few drops and you will get hours of aromatherapy. You can even add more water without adding more oil and it last way longer than this useless product. I wonder who came up with this? All for profit I presume?

    • @itssimpleartisansoaps5694
      @itssimpleartisansoaps5694 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well it is each to think for themselves. I do not feel that shower steamers are a waste of money, I think it is really useful when you have a blocked sinus, a headache, a fever and things like that. The oil warmer takes time to heat up the essential oils but a shower steamer is activated as soon as hot water is sprayed on it. Oil warmers need to be monitored as there is a there is a risk of the oil overheating and catching fire (has happened with me), there is no such risk with a shower steamer. Shower steamers are a safe and wonderful to use in the shower.

    • @MilkyWayTarot
      @MilkyWayTarot หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ I’ve been using oil burners for years and have had none of them “catch fire”. I’m pretty sure the steam from the shower would make its chances very low of burning. Also, they literally heat up in no time at all, even with the small tea light candles you will smell them in less than 5 minutes. It’s just a small amount of water and oil in them. By the time you undress and after setting up your bathroom they will be ready. But yes, like you said “to each your own”. It just seems useless to me, especially value wise. I think the candle light would add to a serene ambiance for the spa like environment. You can use it for a bath or short shower. I really enjoy and prefer the flame 🔥

      Thank you for watching. You can add 0.5 to 1% of the total weight of your batch of Polysorbate 80. It can be added when you add your essential oils. Hope that helps.

      I wouldn’t say it is bad for dry frizzy hair, but you need to pre-treat with hot oil before wash and condition after washing. You can tweak the recipe a little to suit your hair type like adding extra hibiscus or flaxseed.

It is not drying at all but I use this handwash recipe in my kitchen so I need something that will remove any kind of oil or odor from my hands that is why I didn’t use any oils except for vitamin e oil. I will surely put up the Castile soap recipe as well, that is milder and I use that handwash in my washroom for washing my hands. But I make sure to moisturize my hands as soon as I feel that my hands are dry. Thank you so much for watching.

    • @itssimpleartisansoaps5694
      @itssimpleartisansoaps5694 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The reason for the shower steamers to be stuck in the mold could be that it is too dry or the mixture has less binding agents. Try to make it more wet or if the mixture is wet enough then try adding some extra cornstarch or cream of tartar to the mixture.
