Procured an old tube TV, got my old C64, disk drive, cables, and floppy disks with pirated games "warez" out, and it still worked! Here is the "crack screen" (into by the pirates who broke the copy protection on the game) for Fourth & Inches, my old favorite game.

First 808 keychain camera launch on Estes Skyhawker rocket
มุมมอง 1218 ปีที่แล้ว
We taped the camera downward-facing onto the side of the rocket. We were worried that it would tip to one side, so we taped a small rock on the opposite side to counterbalance it. It mostly worked, as the rocket tipped only toward the end of its flight path. The only bad news is that the parachute didn't eject properly (not the fault of the camera - just back packing job) and the rocket ended u...

    If you're going to use a C engine in an Alpha, you should use a C6-7. Let's the rocket fall for a couple more seconds before ejection. Also cutting a round hole 2" in diameter in the middle of the chute will bring it down faster (and closer) without damage.

      Great tips - thank you! Only problem is that my kids are now all in high school and wrangling them to shoot off model rockets with me would be a feat in itself!

      The rocket must not be aerodynamic enough, too heavy, or too large.

    can you please tell me how do you keep water out of your nose cavity?

    • @pudendum
      @pudendum 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      by keeping just enough air pressure so water doesnt run in. swam for years so comes naturally

    • @forgottenone90
      @forgottenone90 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pudendum Can you please tell me WHAT exactly develops this skill to be able to meter the air pressure in the nose so punctually? Flip turns? Dolphin on my back underwater? What should I keep practicing and how? I would like to develop this skill. Btw, I really thank you for your reply.

    • @pudendum
      @pudendum 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@forgottenone90 I wish I could tell you, but I really don't know. Many years spent swimming and lifeguarding as a kid just makes it thoughtless like balancing when riding a bike.

    • @forgottenone90
      @forgottenone90 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pudendum Very good correspondence, good point with the riding a bike similarity. I remember when I was a kid I was SO angry when learning that too. Because it's not even "learning", it just happens after trying enough. This is what makes it annoying. You have nothing to rely on, you won't feel the constant progress, "it'll just happen", but, after so much of failing (been practising this for HOURS, 10 occasions already in the swimming pool) it is harder and harder to believe it will ever actually happen............ I love swimming too, but I haven't been swimming too much on my back underwater in my life, even if I did I just blew bubbles out, and also when I went underwater face-up, lying on the bottom of the pool, I simply let water come into my nose if I wanted to stay longer because I didn't mind. But now I feel that unprofessional and wanna master this technique you are using. Gosh. Anyway, you helped with your answer, so thank you very much! I appreciate it.
