Installing my rebuilt Rover V8 into my Pilgrim Motorsports Cobra chassis
Hi there .. . What’s the length of the column? I need to get a column but I want to be closest to the dash, with the steering wheel.
I used the recommended Ford Sierra column and the length is adjustable so can be set to your desired fit.
Hello, nice build..if i msy ask, from where did you purchase the inlet manifold, carb and air filter assy?
Are these engines a Oldsmobile design from the 60's ? Why go with dish pistons? Flat top pistons are more efficient and have complete fuel burn for far better emissions out tale pipe from my experience?
No it was a buick engine originally
@CGS Designs yes, the rover v8 is a great engine
Olds had a version of it but valve covers stick out to sides at 45 degrees like any Olds engine instead of vertical like a Buick nailhead engine... Buick had this engine in concept cars around 1950 and aftermarket made them until around 2018. Only the Buick dished pistons are available as parts in USA, no flat tops or true Olds versions... maybe others from UK...

Who makes these "V8" cam covers? very nice!
They are standard Rover covers that I sprayed black and silver. I bought the V8 logo's off ebay.
Nice. I recommend going for a remotely mounted ignition module. The heat of the engine can kill the module least when you expect it.
Hi, great videos, I am looking to start a Pilgrim build soon. Strange request but what size is your garage.
Hi Vikesh, not a strange question at all I had concerns about garage size prior to purchase. My garage is 5m long by 3.5m wide. I have seen cars built in smaller garages. Good luck with your build.
