REGARDING matching process. As you said Luck is involved in that. Suppose one fails to match into residency than can that person apply again or its over. Like how many chances does one get in that. As you said the computer randomly does the matching so does it allow second, third chances for same applicant or only one chance and it's over.

So by simply filling the ECFMG identification form one can give the exam after 2023 so as to avoid the new chances in ECFMG in 2024. How long does it take to fill the form and do the entire process. A video regarding how to fill the ECFMG identification form would be helpful.

18:45 Sir, I would like to add that all USMLE scores are valid for 7 years starting from date of passing step 1. So, govt bond students should not take the exam in 3rd year because their scores might expire by the time the bond finishes. But, if they can get all 3 steps done and get ECFMG certified before those 7 years, their scores are valid for lifetime.
