Still getting to grips with the car, first dry trackday since built. Happy with how it handles now. Going to try the slicks for the next trackday.

When on a cool down lap with tyres overheating, running out of fuel and car warm after a long session but see a Batmobile approaching in the rear view mirror. Had fun trying to keep up.

What diff are you running? I have a NA kswap E30. Planning on going forced induction eventually I’m assuming my small case 4.10 won’t handle the power.

How is the comparison between the S54 and the K turbo?
Bhp/torque very similar, k24 has a little more power everywhere on curve. K24 a lot lighter.

Whats the tyre width? How would you rate ar1's against slicks? Great car and driving btw! Having e30 myself, trying to go from 195's to 225's for track days.
Hello it’s 205 front and 235 rear. 17”. The ar1 are good/better than slicks but they wear out incredibly quick (1.5 track days) and a very expensive. Hence the preference to use slicks due to cost.
@@harjunLFS Wow, ar1's are that good? Ive got less powerful e30 (about 280hp) , but still struggle with grip in same ways as you do as i see from your video... Ive removed rear sway bar and saw quite a nice difference, are you running one? As for alignment ive tried several setups, and so far 0 toe and 2.30 rear and 3ish front camber seems like a sweet spot for me.
@@TomoReso you need a rear sway bar or car will understeer. Used to struggle with understeer but other than that grip was fine for a 550bhp supercharged s54 in a light car on narrow wheels 👍 Follow me harryboy68 on Instagram I’m building an 800bhp one with an m4 multi link rear axle and 275 18” slicks.

Sound like stock s54? Stock sper diff? What is ratio? Doing swap in e30 right now...what you think best ratio would be for 6spd trans? Thx
Is Supercharged ESS. Stock diff 3.46.

It has Porsche 911 brakes all round from a base 986. It has MK60 abs also and uses a tilton pedal box.

Is the motor stock and is the speedo pretty accurate? This thing is a monster
It’s charged. It’s doing 155 + down the straight. Speedo overreads by about 10% like most e30s.
@@harjunLFS Do you know what you're putting to the wheels? I had an S54 built for my E30 that's going in it now and I'm trying to get an idea of how fast it might be. I'm supposedly supposed to see 350whp NA, and if it's anything like yours I'll be very happy because yours is crazy fast

Squeaky brakes but that GTR got you when you were slowing in the bends,in races how you handle bends decides if you win or loose ,sometimes you take the bends a bit wildly.

Is that a bolted cage? How does it tie into the front floor? I have a welded half cage now and didn't want to cut my dash to put in the other half, so yours looks interesting. Mine is an m52b28 swap I just bought and am just doing rust repair now...
It’s a safety devices bolt in cage. The front bolts to a thick bit of steel footplate welded to the cill, chassis rail and floor panel.
