    You got it all wrong. We learn standard arabic to make our lives functional not just to read Quran (there are christians in the arabic countries and the bible is written in standard arabic and they pray in churches in standard arabic!). Everything at work is in standard arabic. Our bills, our food menus, our school text books, our news and newspapers are ALL in standard arabic. A book you read while laying on the beach is the same. And what makes a Jordanian person understand a Saudi person is because they both speak a dialect that is rooted to the standard arabic.

    We speak Arabic we use it for the Quran for everything.. I'm amazigh or some berber called as berber. But I would like to learn Chinese but firstly I suggested to make a questionnaire and comparing the opinions of people particularly those who aren't a native in both Arab and Chinese... So Arabic still the hard for large part of people over the world and that have nathing to do with its alphabet neither the amount of vocabulary but I think it's up to grammar rules however the new Muslims make huge efforts and part of them nowadays can speak as fluent as Arab.

    Who told you Arabs learn standard Arabic to be able to read the koran.?! Is like saying people learn Latin to join the church! I never heard such a thing from any Arab in my whole life. Arabs learn standard Arabic so they can find a job, become a writer or poet, a sexy female TV presenter :), a journalist, buy a house, get married and listen to Oum Kathoum :) In fact there are zero percent of Arabs who learn Arabic so they can read the koran. The opposite is true. Arabs read and learn the koran to learn better Arabic.! Arabic a difficult language, true, but you don't need to learn dialect. If they can't speak standard, It's their problem not yours. They have to adapt and adjust to you not the other way round. The majority of Arabs will understand you. There are millions of non-Arab speakers who learn Standard and make use of it in many ways, and they also pick up a few dialect here and there as they go along. Good luck.

    True!! for arabic you have to learn a country dialect to communicate with some people In fact even lebanese folks type messages in arabic with the alphabet (abc) , they don't even use the "arabic abjadiiya" (ا ب ت) Either for formal Arabic, you will only understand books, news stuff.. But nobody use the "script arabic" it s just for formal, commun to the arabic countries

    In the aspect of grammar, no other language can eve be close to arabic fusha in diffuculties. It is a real deal! Chinese may be called one of the easiest languages out there as far as grammar is concerned. Chinese has two difficulties. 1) Tones. You can get it by time unless you are sort of deaf. 2) Chinese characters. That makes it a real pain in the ass. You made the call on learning this language, cannot put any blame on anyone :) Yet, after 6 months of studying the exact time of these both languages, you will better speak chinese than arabic. I doubt you can even count properly in arabic :( many out there will get what i am saying...

    • @ronniejamesdio6889
      @ronniejamesdio6889 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You forgot pronounciation as well. Most of the Chinese characters are composed by 2 syllables with similar phonetics sound, therefore it's even harder to build a solid vocabulary because you can get confused pretty easily. I don't know about Arabic, so I can't judge it, but I agree you that Chinese grammar isn't hard, but still doesn't mean that you won't make any mistake if you write an essay in CHinese. Most of mistakes foreigners make when they write an essay in Chinese is the sentence structure and the usage of the vocabulary. Chinese dictionary is still not perfect for foreigners, because in many cases the dictionary doesn't always tell you the part of speech and versatility of words, you may use that word as a verb, but then a native speaker can tell you that you're supposed to use it like an adjective, there are some cases like that.

    I think you have a difficult time knowing some things about arabic, First modern standard arabic is not used for just reading in Quran , it is in the news, newspapers , books , cartoons for childrens. and the most important all your So yeah kids all across the arabic world grow up watching the same stuffs mostly. government documents , papers , Education ... and everyone understand MSA otherwise they wouldn't understand the news or deal with government paperwork or read street signs even. The differences between arabic countries , are just dialects . dialects like a mix of languages and stuffs based on the history and culture and geography of the country . as from north africa , Tunisia , our dialect is a Mixture of mostly arabic and some french and some Amazigh words in addiction to the way we pronounce stuffs and the way we speak , our accent is toneless, rigid and fast unlike in Middle east they have a tone and a soft accent . it is like how American English sound vs Japanese. we most of the time use same words but we don't recognize it because of the way we pronounce it. for example in tunisia for " Good evening " you could say " Massik " , which is actually a whole sentence packed in a single world , " Msa'o El Khayri " in MSA . in egypt they would say " Masa El Khyr " which is still recognizable from MSA , BUT THE Tunisian one we just kept the Masa'a = evening , and added K for " yours " so it literally translate to Your evening.
