awesome You guys are brilliant Send me please an email I live in Greece Where can I buy this beauty? allula Wing
Armstrong has it right , use stainless and ti screws and just keep the thing assembled . Just remove the foil for transporting . Its a proven system and works great ! . Have thought about wing nuts before on mast for testing setups but would take of after as they could drag in water .
Can’t wait for the new kites to hit the shop. Didn’t know there is a brainchild Bandit too!
What about grains of sand?
I’d like to see a video about who the foil drive is for, is it just for guys that want to prone foil in the waves, or is it a good training tool for pump foiling. I wing foil but would like to try prone foiling, but paddling onto foil would destroy my shoulders, so foil drive looks good. But over 5k is a big investment for another toy. Larry

While I understand the frustration with screws, they have a purpose. I run Armstrong stuff. It’s very easy to swap just a front wing or a tail. I can shim my tail. I can change each individual piece of my setup. It’s titanium and I have never once had a single issue with the screws. I have however seen a buddy break a screw inside the fuselage. It had to be extracted. I find it difficult to put so much trust in what seems to be a steel cable? Maybe some sort of synthetic line? And a plastic tab? I’m sure it will be fine. But I’m somewhat hesitant. Would love to try it out and test, but I wouldn’t toss money at it.
Seems cool but I’m already expecting some major issues as these release and people use them. Would love to try it out just to see. It’s pretty hard to beat Armstrong, in my opinion.
so, no more 102 masts? :(
Lol
Picked up my 5'10 midlength today, along with a new quiver of V4's
Learnt more from that video than 100 videos combined! How succinct and inspirational all at the same time 👊
Nope.. you go windsurfing in this wind😂
aaaaa... when the wind pushed the foil around on the concrete!
Super smart system, but won’t the components sand each other down after time?
Armstrong
looks like a nightmare once the sand gets in there tight tolerance at the beach is a problem
Slingshot Foil's are so awesome 😎👍
great idea, however the choices are daunting for someone that would like to give foiling a try.
What about windfoiling! Later release perhaps?
He answered my question in last 30 sec of 15 min video. Yes, it's foldable. Does the 2025 Mode pro with handles fold like the old ones without the track. In otherwords, is track foldable?
Yep
Hey Paul, yes there is no change to packing the 2025 Mode Pro wing in your bag. The Shiftlock system is totally foldable. The 2025 Mode Pro bag is also extendable should you use a boom on the track and not want to remove it after each session.

Raph is the French Kalama! He has always been a high integrity individual. A deep and independent thinker who never compromises to follow the trends. He has driven some of the biggest improvements and innovations in the kite and foil sports.
Legend!
The boards are looking A+. Very nice shapes, cool finish and nice traction pads.
I want one of these.
Can this be worn over an impact vest?
With the boom option for the new Unit, I got a feeling that Duotone is gonna eliminate the Slick moving forward.
Very impressive! looking forward testing one!
Have sticky fun with sand
one of the most honest "promotions" I've seen so far on the intranet from a brand related person, hats off !! For once not saying that everything ranges from great to perfect for EVERYONE 👏
How easy is it to clean/wash liquid pack? Can you remove Liquid Pack and Tubing easily if you don't want it? Can you fit it over a Personal Flotation Device (PFD)?
thanks for the video and walkthrough! Just ordered the Pace Pro 8/10M and few sensor4 Pro bars, can't wait to try them out!
looks awesome!
That’s awesome. Next up Seamless.
I will be getting my setup in the spring.
Any idea of release date, price and any footage of someone wearing one?
Sold!
Pretty impressed how someone finally came up with a solid idea for a screwless system! Great and profound walkthrough by Fred.. especially the comparison between the new wings and the phantasm wings is worth gold! Too bad there’s no stab like the Phantasm v-stab though.
Does the bottom triangle manage jumping shocks, does your warranty cover damage if it breaks or is jumping not allowed?
Screw less apart from the 2 at the back of the base
I have the 6'9". I like it a lot.
Finally some competition! Will prices ever come down?
Will phantasm get 1099? Looks like 1325 in one lock would be equivalent. Also, second the question about support for phantasm. How long will that be?
no new phantasms will be launched. its the end on the line. Not sure on the support and warranty ect
Looks nice and easy to setup, but I dont believe its as stiff as the options with screws. Looks like there is going to be more flex in the side to side movement
The New system is much stiffer than the phantasm line. It really feels great.
Looks great. Please dont try ro be unique with your foils. Licence the one lock and bring your ayatem to the whole market.
Yes I agree the innovation here is the latching system not the foil design. License this to whole market,
Wow, I am impressed.
Looks great, no screws, no corrosion and easy fast! Excellent explanations Fred!
The brains behind FD. What a legend.
Nice video. Foil Drive is great. Back from the future?
Thanks. Previewing the 2025 gear. We covered the 2024 gear last year. :)
@@WingsurfingMagazine ah nice... these guys move fast. Guess got confused by the video title... hope to be there in 2025.
No talk about the travel battery?!
Kevin Wade spoke about the Manta Foils travel edition: th-cam.com/video/d1yFBUxGj7Q/w-d-xo.html
It’s in testing same size as the MAX break down in 3 peace’s. I don’t know if that will be the final product
Very nice system. But do I understand this correctly: to change the length of the fuselage you have to buy a length-specific frontwing or stab-version? And: are you really no longer supporting windsurf-foiling (windfoiling)? Last but not least: how long are you going to continue the support for the phantasm-line - especially regarding new frontwing-models?
I guess that’s an easy answer - no more new phantasm wings from this day on
