The output file is basically game(clean rom) + patch file. Basically it's the romhack. For example you add a clean fe8 USA rom and a patch of vision quest, to get the romhack of vision quest. You can also change the name of the patched rom in the output file.

No clue, on why that's happening, try putting the patch in the patch location first and then the rom in the rom place, see if it helps.

I have been watching the playthrough and man, this game makes FE7 Vanilla obsolete, why even bother with it anymore after playing this for re-runs.
I really don't like how they handle difficulty after Awakening.
But Awakening has shit difficulty and gameplay.
