Full Wedding Day // A1 & A9III

Here's a full day wedding walkthrough from A & H's wedding at Gunners Barracks in Sydney Australia. I've tried to include some info on each section of the day, as well as general thoughts and feelings on the wedding day, after shooting them for 3 years, and over 100 weddings. Hope this is informative, and gives a good impression on the style, creative choices and framing I like to use throughou...

looks very similar to my build! might result to a nato top handle soon too. HAHA! solid rundown!

That v-mount plate is honestly the best if you dont want to use rails
@@Sky.H265 so glad you got me onto it
Congratulation
PLS DO A SONY FX3 SETTINGS REVIEW
Looks like a very useful tool. Love that it does not require a filter holder like some of the other brands. Thanks for sharing your experience using this filter.
@@DanSolo-q4s no worries, glad I was given it, but at least I now know I would’ve probably bought one anyways
offft you are switching to DaVinci resolve now
@@chinnyphotography already switched last week
I dont need more filters, i dont need more filters
@@Sky.H265 just don’t drop them near gravel or anything with iron 💀
@ oh dam yeah
Gotta get one! Its about time!👌🙌
Amazing as always!!
Looks great!👌
It was!
That looked like an amazing trip! Great video highlights of your trip!
Thanks so much! It was amazing, very rapid but so good
This hits all the feels 🥰
Such good vibes!
Dam cinematography goes hard!
Learnt da Vinci for this 😂 literally just to add halation
Love this, such a good edit xx
@@evangeline2033 thank you!
So good!!
❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉
I have the A7IV which uses the same AF as the A1, but what I realized is how fast the shutter curtain moves while not making any elecronic whirring.
How can i do that in a Canon cam without the lens?
sickkk!!
@@leogabriel37 thanks mate ❤️
I’d love to see a 100-300 f/4 - would buy that in an instant (depending on price - would assume £2500-3000 tho). Additionally, would like to see a 20/24-85 f/4, 16-55 f/2.8 full frame version and a 14-35 f/4 like canon have but on Sony
What's the deliverable frame rate here? 25/30/29.97/24/23...fps
25fps
My powerfull baby 😊 🫂
30 fps raw ❤
Are all your weddings photographed handmade? no stabilizer or tripod? Greetings!
Tripod shots for ceremony and speeches, handheld for everything else
@@CVEXPLORES Thanks!! :)
@@Capitanmez no worries
bro just summoned wd gaster

what type of video should I use for this effect?
CLYDE! This is amazing bro! Hope to join you in one of these one day.
That would be amazing - I really hope I can go back again in the future
so proud of you, favourite video yet! xx
Same ❤️
Beautiful stuff, my guy!
Thanks mate
canon have shown the way for releasing the 24-105 2.8. a sony version would be like printing money for them
Maybe, I don’t think a lot of people would want a lens that big though. I mean the 28-70 F2 is fantastic but not a huge seller just because of price and size
@@CVEXPLORES but the 24-105 has been a massive success for canon. this would just be a sony version. it's into the cinema zoom price point, except with more range, stabiliation and auto focus. it's not a travel lens, but most shooters aren't travel shooters.
EPIC
Thanks mate
Amazing Clyde! Im still so shook everytime your pics come up on the gram
I’m still shook that it really happened
Quite an extraordinary journey Clyde
Still doesn’t feel real
Sick Footages! You capture Antartica so beautifuly! can't wait to see more. :)
Plenty more on insta, I didn’t really vlog much haha
Noooo!!! more of Antartica vlogs please. HAHA.
@@ErnestHojilla I honestly didn’t have any time to talk to camera
Just seeing these landscapes, my goodness that is such a crazy and amazing place. Still cant believe you got to go do it!! Penguins easily were the best bit if you ask me 😝
That is not 30fps sounds...
It sure is
@@CVEXPLORES my A1 can't get 30fps without Sony lens mounted. and that sound likes 20fps when I set RAW uncompressed with H+ mode dial... sorry If I was wrong!
@@ducGrom6262 the audio compression for some reason isn’t playing every second shot
Need a new 24-105 f2.8-f4 variable aperture . compact size
That would be nice. I’d happily settle for a 24-120 F4 as well
😮
Hey, what type of project do you use? Planning to do a shoot with haze, but unsure of what type of projector shud i get. Does it have to be an extremely strong one? Or a regular one would do?
This was a Philips Neopix 110 like $200 - hope that helps
@@CVEXPLORES Thank you! I'll look into it. And using haze, does it leave residue on surfaces? Just doing my research before using haze in my home.
20-35mm f2 or 20-40mm f2 with stellar AF. I had the Tamron 20-40mm f2.8 but returned it as the AF in low light not so good. I do a good number of events and low light AF is important to me. If it was good in that dept I would have kept it.
Vocal fry is annoying.
I was trying to talk quietly because I get self conscious when recording with other people at home
okay so real criticism here how you take it is on you since you made this public. 1- you're shooting for aesthetics and still very shy to get close to your subject or experiment with different angles. 2- in all your shots your talent is looking at the camera and posing, yes she can look natural but it's still posing, then you sneak some shots while she's not looking to make it seem natural. it's not a bad thing to ask your talent to act a bit, and look elsewhere while you take a shot, she's obviously nervous and looks at the camera cause she wants to look nice, but comforting her by telling her she can be herself and be interesting would help alot then just standing/sitting there. 3- an old "bloke" just passed by your shot, this is an opportunity to take "the shot". you have a beautiful young woman and an old bloke passing by in the same pool/area = contrast. you just made everything look awkward and stoped shooting cause a person passed, big mistake, take advantage of it, tell your talent to ignore him and keep shooting and include him in the shots, you will never know what you'll get. 4- stop using your most expensive gear that you fear of damaging if you wanna shoot outdoors or get an assistant. you couldve got in the water with your talent and took some amazing shots. 5- stop caring about the photo quality or how beautiful your subject looks, maybe care more about the content, that would help you elevate. hope this helped if not good luck.
What’d you think of the ii lens?
I love it, it’s light, sharp and the F4 doesn’t bother me for my use case
What're ur go to strategies to find private locations not filled with a million other people?
Trust your talent, they might know the area better than you. Or just do early/late shoots
True, I guess if you're going to their turf, good idea @@CVEXPLORES
Great work
Thanks much appreciated
It's an interesting point of view. Great video. It's always good to hear different sides of the argument.
I personally agree with most people that anything that justifies ‘work’ should be paid. But for building a portfolio, investing in a free shoot is the same as going to uni to learn… to qualify you for doing a specific job
@CVEXPLORES when I first started photography as a career, confidence held me back more than anything. Even if it just builds confidence it might be worth it for many beginning to shoot professionally
