My favorite character was Colonel Tigh. I always loved second in commands for some reason, like Spock and Riker.

Seeing the Atlantia blow up was disturbing for 1978....especially the chaos inside with the ship decompressing and the air escaping....strong stuff!

The reason the Galactica is pulling out is that they are escaping an ambush. The fighters’ job is to cover that escape. Fighters are expendable, the carrier is not. Too bad other Battlestar commanders didn’t have the same good sense as Adama.

This was so much better than that reimagined Battle Star Galactica BS where Starbuck was made a female, I guess this had something to do with trans.

This show was awsum for it's time the living legend segment was my favorite I look back at and think Commander Cain was all hopped up on some thing more than his ego after the attack looks like what was left of him blew out the air lock but the man firing the missiles should have said are you out of your mind are you got any of that stuff your smoking left any how when it was over I bet their rectums were wrapped damn tight around their necks I'm just saying Cain should have also said before the launch order go wake up shorty because he ain't never going to see a wreck like we're going to have ever again

But the BS-Atlantia was Not the only Battlestar destroyed! All 9 Battlestars were destroyed ( except Galactica and Pegasus)..

Battlestar Galactica was one of my favorite shows. I’ve watched this scene many times. Just a quick question why wasn’t any other battlestar able to launch fighters during battle. We know Pegasus escaped. I know we suspend belief for the sake of progressing the narrative, but, They should have been able to launch some from the other ships. Also, I hope they do a reboot movie that is more authentic to the 1978 version and not the 2010s version. I didn’t enjoy the adaptation.
