Some tips on identifying the counterfeit "OEM" Mopar and fleet guard brand fuel filters for your 6.7 Cummins. People are scammed all the time buying OEM parts offline and they don't even know it. Happens with Motorcraft, Acdelco and more.

I know it's been too long; I had a lot of issues with audio on some videos and others were corrupt files, so I didn't get to include those. mistakes were made and learned from and are getting corrected.

part 1 reassembly of the 390 we were trying something different with the view on another camera and unfortunately we didnt have the best sound and i realzed during editing we were rambling about everything else but the engine... BUT Part 2 does have more tech talk and closer view of the work with better picture and audio quality. thanks for watching

Nice video, mine sheared off today. Had to to take the beauty covers off the steering column and change drives with channel locks. New part on the way.
My grandpa has a 76 ramcharger 150 4x4 and I’d love to do a gen 3 swap with a modern automatic transmission possibly from a newer donner dodge ram, your video was helpful man thx 🙏🏼

Just buy the 4x4 trans mount
i have the 4x4 trans mounts, they work with the truck's original trans crossmember which is long gone. wont work on the hooker's 2wd crossmember and its just in the way of the driveshaft so lesson learned there but oh well.
I got counterfeit fuel filter from Amazon. The truck would not run with the counterfeit.

I'll be doing my 79 Ramcharger eventually. Doing a D100 and a 66 Satellite first. The Ramcharger has a 360 magnum with only 25k and a NV4500 that i swapped in 2008.

Thanks man! Helped me change mine with a quickness. FYI to others.. if this happens and you don't have parts to fix it. A set of long nose vice grips worked for a while as I was waiting for the replacement part to show up. I laid the shifter arm on top of the column and put a towel on top of it to keep it from falling off.
Did the same! Except i used channel locks.

So mine didn’t go limp, but I had to replace it because the gear selector switch quit working. Not a big deal on flat roads but snowy mountains it’s a must have. Used your video to help me figure it out. Thanks. Also if you bump the two outer T20 up just before they are out it will separate the top off
Just had that happen to my 09. Ordered it for $89 and got it here in 3 days!
By the time you add up the time/costs etc of this swap.... I can't help but believe you could have funded a "properly" built/funded legacy Engine build complete with EFI that would literally TROUNCE that N/A Gen 3 ? Just say'in... I Flow the Gen 3 Hemi Heads regularily.... and that Head Flow is unequivocally the hp 'potential' ? And they just do NOT Flow sufficiently in stock form to trump the costs associated Vrs funding a properly built legacy Engines potential... Full Stop ! When a "properly" built non-stroker .030 over 440 can easily kick 550 hp/550 Ft/Lbs with just a Flat Tappet Cam for waaay under $10K with EFI..... HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS SWAP VIABLE to make even 400 hp and 450 ft/lbs ????????????

Just a quick correction here. 98-2000 LS1 based cars received the LS1 intake manifold. It was only the 2001 and 2002 cars that received the LS6 intake.
Great to see a 4x4 swap done. I'm doing a 80 ramcharger with the np435 and 4x4.
