Oh lads, I'm viewing this from Ireland (where we wrap virtually all out bales due to climate). That system seems so much hassle. We either use a baler/wrapper combo (Like the excellent McHale Fusion 3) or a wrapper that follows the baler. A good hi speed wrapper with the right operator can service 2 balers. You can then stack & use the bales anywhere as they're individually wrapped. The advantage of there Fusion 3 is that it uses film instead of net around the bale. When you're feeding the bales you have one waster stream (plastic film) & there's much less spoilage as the film prevents air getting in.

We have used high quality Angus bulls for a long time but decided to try Hereford bulls to take advantage of heterosis or hybrid vigor.

Do you graze the cows on the corn stalks?
We actually bale the corn stalks and use it as bedding in our hoop barn!
No corn combine around here just some beans and a little silage, you all be safe and have a good harvest
