Do they get to warm up first? It seems dangerous to just jump into a heavy lift at a competition.
Of course there are warm ups. Just done previously in a seperate room.

Hey man, where exactly is this in ns?
At the time of this video I was doing the Hepburn B routine. I modified the Pump Phase of the work out by adding either bands or chains instead of just repping out with a lighter weight. ie, lighter out of the hole but heavier at the top. I made a 40kg PB total on one year with this program. In addition I also lost 40lbs BW.
The Canadian Military Atlantic Regionals is an annual event held so far at CFB Gagetown NB in November.
I have the same rack and will keep your ideas in mind once I start doing band training lol.

Yes indeed. I have modded the pump phase to use bands as assistance instead of dropping weight. Seems to be more effective.

What do you think about the A routine? Have you ever tried it? Its only four exercises: Squat, bench press, overheadpress and the deadlift. Do you think this is enough or will the upperback and biceps be neglected?

To the guy starting his squat at 45:12 in this video, dude, you get the "Squat Grind of the Year" award. You should have missed that lift at about 4 different spots and you still finished it. Well done.

Thank you very much tejasbasslg! I have been using the Hepburn B routine for well over a year and I keep getting stronger. I turned 40 this year and I'm stronger than ever. I have tried most other routines and found myself stagnating after a few months. I train with out drugs and limited suppliments. When searching for a routine the Hepburn B routine made the most sense to me. I will continue to follow it and see where it leads me.
