If the top of the pile is below 1m from ground level then from which should I calculate Lc's value. I mean Lc is from ground level or from top of the pile? TIA
hello sir, if angle of friction not mentioned, how do i calculate the friction angle for each layer of soil (sand). is there any formula you use? thanks in advance
If it’s not given there are tables for angles of friction for each soil layer. You can find them in every text book. The way they work is as a range so u just either average or take upper or lower bound.
