Fantastic video. I’m buying a house that has two of these that will be getting swapped out
Why the white hardware on the black door?
Well done, thanks!
@7:08 , I felt that! 😀
Thank you. Very helpful!
Great job 👍
Great 👍 job! Much appreciated!🤩😎🙏
You didn’t help any
Good video, Of all the videos I looked at your's is probably the most informative. I feel confident I can do this!
Score the caulk around your frame where it meets your drywall and that will prevent the paint chips/damage to sheetrock
How expensive is it to do this when your windows are in front and the siding is brick ? Do you still work from inside like this ?
You should never do it like this, use a backer rod and sealant joint. This will leak.
Did you not have to put a longer king stud in the wall to support the weight of the upper wall?
It was already installed before cutting walls from exterior
Is this 200 narroline series?
Thanks! I learned a lot from this video.
Nice work - I assume it was not necessary to hire a structural engineer to calculate a header size for this not-that-big opening?
Any new openings requires permits
Thanks a lot man! F those comments about wearing long sleeves and furniture.
The standard carpenter outfit: Johnny Cash flipping the bird t shirt... 🤣
I’m getting my changed soon. Thank you for sharing. Looks great. Good job.
Wouldn't the house cave in on my head if I cut exterior wall out?
It requires new header
When he throws the first aluminum piece out the window you hear 1 second later. Vladimir Putin say “Ой блядь!”
Make it look easy my man thanks for sharing
Can you share lock name we need the same one. Thank you
Its scary to make such a big hole ;D Good job anyway. I recommend Dako for patio doors in US as well.
I love the dog he doesn’t move for anything. I wish my dog was like that.
My thoughts exactly. That's the most chill dog ever... It's like, meh. Humans up to weird stuff again. 😅
Where da header doe
Header is installed at 2:02
No temp support!
No need. There trusses seating on side walls
who built your doors? I am needing those exact doors with a total 84" wide door opening
yup. they left out a key bit of info...
One of his other videos, he unpacks a window from Renewal by Andersen.. Google searched their french patio doors and they have one just like this.
Is that safe to have the hinges on outside for someone to remove the pin?
@@Sallyleahplotagon2015 I was wondering the same thing. We asked another company and they said they come with non removable pins.
We are looking to replace the door handles and lock mechanism. But cannot find the parts. I need ideas where to look for replacement parts?
Eye protection 👍 Hearing protection 👎
I bet you wear a useless mask in public as well.
WHAT DO YOU SAY?😂
great video! I was wondering when you were cutting the studs, how come you didn't need a temporary support?
Gable end. Not a whole lot of weight here.
@@dimebagtonyfinnahit9716 what does a gable end mean? if my wall is a tall wall (the height of a two story home, would I need supports?
There trusses that seating on side walls
@@mariogayoso you need to open wall from inside first, reframe woth new header and after cut exterior wall. Or better just hire professional guy
Yessir y’all should me a very detailed video step by step on removing and installing all different kinds of windows vinyl alluminum ect
This is was super helpful!
Thank you
You've broken many standard rules. First being always wear a long sleeve shirt to protect a cut vein or artery. Second never use a electric saw on a glass pane..especially single pane , duh. Three never throw debris out a window. Especially a no look second floor toss. Please take care and use a glazing knife or thin putty knife to cut the glazing. You going to get hurt. And buy some suction cups.
If he wears a long sleeve shirt, we wouldn't be able so see all of his man flesh flexing, duh!
Idk why I did not realize that. Lol
Why dont you do it yourself smartazzz, Are you his Mother???
You are so full of fear. Be sure to wear the useless face mask in public.
@@mikewhite9818 thats what the Sheeps do :-))) i use grinder without anything ,well may be glasses sometimes. it helps to get Clear and precise view
