MILAN UNDERGROUND SESSIONS is a musical project created by the Milan based musicians Mattias Bråhammar (guitar, composition, recording & mixing and video production) and Max Tozzi (bass, composition, recording & mixing and video production).

CONCEPT: with a mix of the grooviness of Scary Pockets, the jazziness of Emmet's Place and the sound of Chris Potter's Underground we invite fellow musician-friends to record a one shot composition with a large creative canvas and input from our guests. We (Max & Mattias) only bring a framework composition ("fragments of a song") to the table and then we cook it all together in a single two hour afternoon session, with no retakes or overdubs.
