Rented Garden Transformation (AFTER-ish)
Recorded September 2024.
When I uploaded the BEFORE video: th-cam.com/video/W4amFnijnnc/w-d-xo.html
I had no idea that this transformation journey would be cut short.
Despite agreeing to a long-term tenancy, the landlord issued us a Section 21 notice.
Therefore I was unable to start some of the changes I had in my mind and a lot of the garden remains unfinished.
I have put so much time, effort and money into the garden over the last 2 years that I felt I still needed to do some kind of after video, it would be unfair not to.
So, this is the after-ish video. Taken almost 2 years to the day after the first video.
This is by no means a complete transformation, but I wanted to capture how it looked in the Summer of 2024.
A sad end, but this is the nature of renting.

This is a video taken in September 2022, when we first moved into the property. I had imagined a 5 year plan in my head: Year 1 (Sept 2022 - Sept 2023) Created the foundations of the design, put in young shrubs/perennials to establish over years 1, 2 and 3. Build pergola. Install a pond. Year 2 (Sept 2023 - Sept 2024) Complete the borders, see how well things have grown, fill in with more peren...

"Howl" read by Allen Ginsberg, 1975

I've had this audio file on my laptop for a number of years and have always wondered when it was recorded. It is the first recording (not reading) of Howl. Thanks to this article for the info: www.openculture.com/2013/06/hear_the_very_first_recording_of_allen_ginsberg_reading_his_epic_poem_howl_1956.html
It's so great to make someone laugh, but it is really something....to make someone smile
Da Da art. He was always baffling to me until recently.
Kaufman wasn't a genius, he was a freaking idiot! A lousy no talent.
Amazing
"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most"
4:30 *HE'S WEARING A SHOCKING SHOCKING AMOUNT OF MAKE UP. WTF* . .
I remember hating Andy, then i spent 5min warching him and love rushed trhu my laugh 😂
Those human seraphim, the sailors. ⚓️
I know he's a legend, but i can't get into it.
Not funny.
this might be daxflame
I remember Andy has a little kid on Saturday night live in the 70s. And I remember him wrestling and all the commercials taunting the South. It's a really lucky people are the ones who got to see him.
Can see how Robin Williams and Jim Carey were inspired by him.
Acting like Tony Clifton takes BALLS 😅
“HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY” 🗣️
I honestly didnt find any of this funny. Just looks like a new comedian that feels awkward on stage. Its boring and uncomfortablely cringy
it's an anti-joke, you have to listen to the jokes he's _not_ telling
I watch this yearly. Like a trip to an insane asylum!
I don’t understand how Kaufman or Letterman ever gained popularity. Too painful to watch again but I tried.
Krist is that you?
He lost me at the endless 🐓s and ⚽️s. This is overrated rambling glorifying the fall of man. I used to admire the beatniks.
Genius.
Literally the only funny part was when he had the lady come onstage and kick tony Clifton's ass. This man was way overrated. Anyone can get on stage and talk nonsense. Hackiest of all hacks. If he really faked his death he did the comedy world a service
Just dont get it sorry....
Um verdadeiro gênio da comédia.
outstanding
It’s Donald trump he never died ! He re-created himself and putting the biggest hoax on the United States of America
This is some wild shit
We wouldn't have Tim Robinson, Eric Andre, Conor O'Malley, Joe Pera, and Nathan Fielder if it weren't for this great man.
'56; the years leading up to this.
Wow I just saw so much of Adam Sandler and Steve Carrell voices and characters they’ve done in this act!! Wild how much he influenced comedians I grew up loving.
1st time I ever heard his real voice
This guy had something that many people don't. First time seeing him, interesting stuff.
I thought the poem was called FOUL or maybe OFFAL
Incredible talent!!!
At 4:15 it looks like there's a difference from the published versions (at least that I find online): he includes the Book of the Dead, which isn't in the published version.
i don't get it
You don’t get it
This is magic. Can you imagine being in that crowd wow
He. reminds me of Hans Teeuwen.
this was boring people dont know what comedy is ,overrated nothing
This is the real comedy of errors
The fact that he even trolled us about his death makes Andy Kaufam an ABSOLUTELY GENIUS. Ahead of 50 years for me! Today , just by scrolling on any social platform you can recognize Andy Kaufman spirit in all the nonsense going around. R.I.P. man ... And if you are not, u deserve a noble prize.
Sick
He was not really fun
11:36 is this where minion language is inspired from?
I highly recommended the book written by his partner Bob Zmuda, who was Andy’s best friend and in on everything with him. It’s called Andy Kaufman Revealed. Behind the scenes on everything and lots of really interesting and surprising material about what Andy was really like and how he came up with his brilliant unique ideas for his comedy.
16:02 some uncanny resemblance here with Joe Pesci.
A little bit of Sid Caesar shows through...
Dont get the "comedy genius". Seems like the ultimate troll in all his performances always "subverting". Yeah don't see it.
There were several ladies that did a "bad" act that was entertaining for the wrong reasons. Andy was not the first to do this by a long shot.
