I revisit a special location only to find that I'd been beaten to the punch. Plan B paid off though, and I was able to salvage the mission with an awesome haul of gold......but it wasn't without disappointment.

Great to get out! Thanks for bringing us along. Do you run the 6k on difficult ground, one notch up from the lowest for sensitivity in that hot soil? Also, Keen has a pretty good fiber glass handle pick :)
Awesome, I'll check out the Keene Pick. I run the 6000 in squiggly lines (difficult ground) on the highest level possible, as long as I'm getting that nice threshold hum while searching for a patch. Once a patch is found, if I can run flat lines, then I absolutely will, as there are a few 'dead zones' in squiggly lines when using a Mono Coil. If you can't run flat lines at all, go grab the DD and run that bad boy on the highest possible setting. In saying all that, once I've found a patch, I alternate between so many settings AND Coils. 👌

Sure will. It helps that I am working real close to where I prospect, making the cost of access minimal. 👌

Yeah Famo, keys are left in to avoid losing them. I'll take them out only if I suspect there's a possibility of conflict.....so rarely.

Love to watch you pulling that gold out. But, if you continue to not fill your holes in, you’ll continue to leave a “map” for the next guy to steal your gold after you put in all the hard work.
They do get filled once I'm finished there.....I leave them open during my day for good visual reference of the patch.

They get filled before I leave. I leave them open during the trip so I can navigate them easy at night.

Mostly a good video, but fill your holes in. Videos like this showing unfilled holes only give the greenies more ammo to get our hobby banned
They get filled at the end of our trip. We leave them open whilst we're there, so it's easy to navigate the patch during the night. 👌👌

Helicopter talk: My mate just purchased the Aerocopter Sanka AK1-3 What an amazing machine it’s in between the R22&300 a little safer than the 22 being 3 blades, and the price is spot on, new landed 380k NZ dollars what’s your thoughts on mustering with these machines in Aussie?
I'm going to have to look it up! Never heard of it. The Robbie's are an awesome machine, you just need to respect them.....or they bite hard. 🙏
