Thanks for stopping by, my name is Mike and I'm back into the hobby after a 20+ year hiatus! I will feature mostly 1/24 and 1/25 scale model car kits from the 1940’s through the 2000’s. You might also find the occasional Sci-Fi build, figure, airplane or motorcycle! I always welcome feedback and suggestions.

Their 3d stuff looks awesome! I'll say like you theirs is better than everyone else. It seems that everyone in the USSAC is using them.
The 6 will definitely stand out over the other cars built. I'm on the fence with joining this group build, because I never seem to be able to finish them. 😅
I've got to do the same thing, thanks for sharing the interior surgery 👍. I'd use the xacto saw personally, I have a habit of melting stuff 😂 VCG rocks! Josh is the man! Loving the direction you're going!
Good stuff. 👍
Looking good Mike. Cheers Wayne
I'm using a can of hemi Orange for my Mopar engine, too. I have an Auto Zone right around the corner and it has a pretty good sized selection of paints. Going to go back for some Chevy Engine Red this weekend.
Great start Mike. VcG stuff is amazing. Easily the best detailed parts I've picked up.
You are absolutely right. VCG really stands above the rest. Looking forward to using the parts 👍
Wow your off a good start..
Thanks Mars 👍
Very cool video everything is looking awesome
Thank you sir!
My all time favorite was and is the 340. Beast of a motor...
I think the 340 really was the best of both worlds. Light weight, but powerful 👍 Thanks for stopping by
@@ScaleSpeedworks I had a 340 with a 4 speed in a 67 Plymouth valiant super stock ish build as a daily for a while. So this group build hits home a bit. Really enjoy your content keep up the good work brother
👍interesting build you got going on there . Thanks for the review on VCG parts. Sometimes when I work on 3D parts, I dress up like Elton John and sing while sanding. 🎶I’m still sanding, yeah, yeah yeah…🎶😁.
Thanks! It feels like that sometimes. The sending never ends 😆 Not VCG though, the parts are clean and ready to go!
Making some great progress on the Dart. VCG resins has awesome products. Josh does a great job on his products.
Thanks Larry, VCG parts are truly unbeatable!
Dang Mike, where's the fire??? 😂😂😂. You are off and running buddy. Like the kit bashing also.
It’s going to take me 6 months to get there, might as well get an early start 😆
Nice offer brother…440 is my favorite
Thanks! 👍
Awesome... will keep watching..
Many thanks! 👍
Hey Mike…looks like you’re making great progress.
It’s a start for sure 😁
❤
😀
Cool, should be a fun build Mike
Thanks! Looking forward to it 👍
@@ScaleSpeedworks 👍😉
I would use a 383. If I win, I’d pay for it or at least the shipping. I like that you are doing a vinyl top! That’s the best looking Dart for 68!
Much appreciated 👍 I’ll try to do a drawing next Sunday for those interested in the kit
Very kind offer and it sounds like a COOL plan you've got. I Like It!
Thank you sir! Looking forward to the build 👍
👍Looks like it’s gonna be a fun build. And it looks like a nice kit. I like the Mr. Norm version. Enjoy the rest of your day 🎉
Thank you 👍
Awfully nice of you to help someone out with a kit. I like your plan for the USACC build
Thank you 👍
Very cool kit. Im sure its gonna be sweet.
Much appreciated 👍
👍🏻😎👍🏻
Thanks!
Awesome of you to offer up that kit! Can’t wait to see what you do with it!
Thank you 👍
Hmmm! I wonder what you are planning to build with the use of all those kits? Dont put me in the running for the kit but my favorite engine would be the 225 slant six. LOL. I would say most of those cars were built with it. Thanks for sharing.
I’ll have an update soon 😉
I'd have to do a Hemi, but honestly a 340 would be cool too
A 340 in the Dart is an awesome little combo!
68 Dart is wicked car with any engine ...For me age old saying no replacement for displacement either 440 or my favorite engine is 426 Hemi in that LO23. Sounds like a great GB.
LO23 is way awesome!! A factory drag car! 😉
Very cool..
Thank you sir!
@@ScaleSpeedworks You know, I have been thinking about what kind of engine to put on that car, and I think I will put a HEMI HELLCAT in it..keep it as a sleeper car.👍
Hey Mike, thanks for the shout out. Great screen shot you used 😔! I'm excited about this group build. Thanks again for hooking me up with the kit.
Such I coincidence I sent you that kit! I can’t believe it! 😆 Looking forward to your build 👍
Thats really cool of you to give a kit away Mike! Cant wait to see your finished build! I already have my kit, cant wait to start it!
Thank you! I’m always looking for a way to give back. Should be a great built with a ton of participation this year. I already like what I see!
Hey Mike! No need to apologize at all! Real life happens to us all. Thanks for the very kind words and the shoutout. And thanks for your cards and stickers as well. I can’t wait to see the direction you’re taking this especially with those two kits you’ve teased. I have this kit and a Mr Norms boxing so I have some options ahead of me too.
Thanks Kyle, looking forward to everyone’s builds! 👍
@@ScaleSpeedworks me too!! Going to be a lot of fun!
Kyle has some cool cards! Will check him out. This will be cool with a lot of extra parts, Awesome that your giving one away.. Have a good one Mike!
Thanks Kreg! 👍
I love the fact that they jammed a Hemi in some of those, but I have to roll with the 340. Please don’t enter me in the drawing, I already have some of those kits. I just had to comment!
Many thanks David! I’m sure these really moved with a 340!
Thanks for the mention. I haven’t done any group builds, this may give me the excuse to build the 68 GTS.
First of all, thanks for stopping by! Secondly, your channel is a wealth of information! I often find myself watching and re-watching your videos because there is a wealth of knowledge and I always seem to miss something 🤣 I’m sure everyone would love to have you join in, and why not, it’s a Mopar build after all 👍
This is gonna be a fun GB! I kinda have an idea where you're going and if I'm correct, I like it!
I’ll have an update out soon. Thanks JD 👍
Good luck pal, looking forward to how this is all going to come together!
It’s Mike. Many thanks 👍
if you are not kicking yourself for not picking up more of the star wars stuff, you should be :P bandai is up there with tamiya, imo, and that boba fett model is gonna be hard to find now. u can still get the AT-ST though, and i highly recommend that.
It’s funny you say that because I just picked up the Boba Fett and Tantive last week 😆 Bandai quality is definitely on par with Tamiya. Thanks for stopping by 👍
So cool.
Great Dio tips!!! Thanks for sharing
Just built that for the 48 hr group build…I didn’t make it. TONS of clean up! But makes an awesome model when done. Enjoy!
I will have to check that out! The parts cleanup is required on every part, but it looks half-way decent when assembled. Thanks for stopping by 👍
Very cool looking kit!
Thanks 👍
That is going to look so cool when it's done. It's looking awesome
Thank you 👍
Great start, looks like a fun build 😊
Thanks David 👍
Excellent review !! I've looked at that kit many times over the years. I have often wondered if I could pose the rider in different ways but I see that's not really an option for what I was thinking. Yes, it's a 45+ year old mold - but they generally still cost a lot less than the new Revell kit. Now that I have seen your review I'm adding this to my need list LOL. The MPC X-wing glue kit is my favorite and I have one of those left in my stash. The Fine Molds and Bandai X-wings get all the glory but the MPC kit is bigger and it's not that bad. I actually had a Fine Molds 1/48 kit and sold it - I kept the MPC one LOL. I agree with you on not worrying about being exact. The chances of finding two "real" worn out speeder bikes that would be the same is highly unlikely. 👍
Thanks for taking the time to stop by 👍 Before you go out to purchase this, wait for my review of the Bandai speeder bike, then you can make an informed decision on your purchase 😉
@@ScaleSpeedworks Sounds good - thank you !
Awesome sauce Mike! Great video explaining everything about this build and what your plans are.
Thank you 👍
It's always nice to be organized. Nice tip on the frame. I'll be watching
I wish I were more organized, it would make this a whole lot easier 😆
Always feels nice to get everything organized and how you like it. Looking forward to the diorama, great tip on the base.
Thank you!
