It's Stephanie and Hank from 2nd Life Customs, and we're back at it with our latest project - tackling upgrades on our beloved truck we've affectionately named 'Dozer'. Why 'Dozer', you ask? Well, this little beast has a knack for grading the driveway every time we take her out since we lowered her. It's all part of the fun in our world of custom...

I have a whole box full of broken tools. I am constantly repurposing them into different special tools. That broken socket was reused into something that needed a 1/2 inch square drive on it.
Some day i might need to put a hose clamp or two around the broken socket and chances are ill weld a pipe onto the broken wrench hadle for a leverage wrench
You could use the broken wrench to make some special tool. Or if it's from a nice company, could just get a new one under warranty.
To make custom tools and also because they're a lot of stuff it's lifetime warranty. Anybody with a brain will find a brand with lifetime hand tools
I didnt break it. I cut it
Because when my wrench breaks in half, I now have a stubby. Because if I keep that cracked socket, I’m just a worm drive pipe clamp away from having a fresh backup. These were my excuses as a tool hoarder, but as my tool collection grew, they became useless excuses and now I prefer well oiled and well organized tools. If you take pride in every tool, those crappy tools start to disappear willingly. All my experience and opinion of course.
I couldn't tell you, i have a ton of broken tools and cracked sockets, i must be too busy to return them or too lazy
Hell i broke most of them for that one time on that one car i needed a halfy
Short wrench they come in handy and u didn't have to buy one cracked socket for pressing stuff they work great. Tools are always tools plus a 100 other things you can use them for.
Not broken, but specialty tools!
Stubby wrenches of all lenghts from cuttingvold wrenches is a must. You will never find those anywhere.. custom is custom, and the broken sockets just remindvus that we need a new socket and more tools.😄
Either warranty or making something that we don’t have time for yet
Sometimes we have to make costom tools. We make them out of all kinds of steel broken tools sometimes we even have to sacrifice not broken tools
We know we can fix anything broken. This comment isn’t about tools.
We just do cuz at some point we will use it some way some how
They’re not broke, they’re customized
Parts for custom homemade tools. Or most likely they are always there for the next time the tool truck comes around for warranty replacement.
Definitely a lot of homemade tools being made lol
To make more tools
A lot of new tools being made lol
Same reason we keep our women after they break 🤣 for the fuck of it
😅😅😅
Could be a lot worse
Yes it could've been! Lol
What you got there under the hood? Dad bod?
Oh my!!! That is hilarious 😂. So gonna use that now 🤣
air down them bign's and it will clear
Just add lock tight when cross threading
