I like it, sounds much better in the car than the video shows. Drives better IMO, which I find hard to understand as the DPF is the bottleneck, but feels like it pulls harder. Happy with it 😀. Interested in what others think.
I had the Torqit twin exit. It wasn't worth the money for pretty much no extra exhaust note. I only noticed a ltr per 100km fuel savings. I took it off and sold it, and went back to stock.
@bigfishfishing-111 Thanks for sharing. I still like it. If planning a new build it wouldn’t be the first thing on my list, but I enjoy it enough that I’d do it again.
a heads up. dune driving in the Tims, White HIlls or preston area is prohibited. it is beach access only.

Not yet… got further with traction control off, but still wasn’t enough. Do you think lockers would have got her out? 🤔
That was so much more entertaining to watch than a fat guy removing a wheel from a subaru while sitting on his ass in the dirt and trying to MacGyver a solution to a bent strut haha, nice effort!

What tires and size do you run on the cruiser?
Nitto Ridge Grappler in a 305/65/18 (34”) - rim offset is pos 35mm (vs factory rims which were pos 60mm) - tires fill the guards nicely, wider track looks good and handles well on and off-road 👍

Looks a great day out, still sorry I missed it! The Landrover nerd in me can't help pointing out that the Disco3 has an automatic locking centre diff which engages when wheel slip is detected 👍
Shame you missed it - there will be a next time! lots of different ways to tackle that climb 😀. I had a feeling you might be the one to answer the Disco LR3 question 👍

Great Video, I actually think we were there the same day as you haha, the ruts look exactly the same as they were when I was driving them. We had a convoy of a Silver Forester, White Troopy, White dualcab Triton and a blue Disco. I loved that area and am keen to revisit soon :)
