I love the prisoner's chain because it's great for low-ish level pvp builds where you make full use of the 5 levels of each of the stats, and because of how pvp damage calculation is done, the % absorption reduction it gives you is basically nothing compared to the health you get from it. Especially if you're doing pvp by being invaded (say in the area past pontiff) since Embering is a % increase to your flat health. :D

prisoners chain is extremely valuable if youre trying to fit your build within a certain level limit, such as for pvp at any level.

POI red tearstone ring afaik dooes only increase attack damage not spell damage

Tbh I really like the blue tear stone ring for early game, it saved me in my winning abyss watchers run with the ring active I survived on 2 hp

There are a few rings that I don't agree with the placements on, or disagree with the reasoning for being there. From here, I'm going to be talking from all aspects, from PvP, normal playthroughs, and Challenge runs. First, Lloyd's shield ring being this low is pretty bad. While I understand what your reasoning is, being able to take less damage from a first attack is really good for PvP and Challenge runs, so that you don't take a bunch of damage from a first hit or something. Covetous Gold Serpent Ring is also really good, and it makes farming all the more better. Don't know why it's so low. All Stoneplate rings are good in PvP. If you can identify the damage types, then you have a huge leg up. Unless it's physical. Hunters Ring makes the game 5x easier for SL1 characters, letting you use weapons like the Irithyll Straight Sword, that make some bosses much easier. For normal playthoughs, still isn't all bad though. If you wanna use a weapon but it's like 3 extra dex, then yeah it's pretty good. Morne's Ring is good. You say there's 8 damaging miracles which is flat out wrong. There's 14 with DLC, 12 without. And boosting your damage by 12% isn't bad. Just because there's a small amount of miracles, doesn't mean that it does its job bad. Sun Princess Ring is amazing. If you're dying from the Symbol of Avarice and you're relying on the Sun Princess ring to outheal it, you're kinda stupid. If you rank the Red Tearstone ring so high, then I bet you can do bosses without getting hit. Also it stacking with other healing items like Blessed Weapons or even other healing spells, it's a very powerful ring. Scholar Ring letting you use Storytellers staff. If you don't know the damage of the Storytellers Staff, it has the damage of toxic with the length of poison. Even on normal builds and even PvP builds, and especially challenge runs, Storytellers is powerful. Concealing Ring is amazing in PvP. Being able to not be seen from a distance by invaders or hosts is very strong. It allows you to regen and prep to get back in the fight. Flynn's Ring is great for challenge runs, since chances are if you're near one shot, you're gonna be naked anyway. Adding on that little bit of damage which is very nice. Definitely not deserving of near the bottom. And the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring and Silvercat Ring are good. Especially in PvP but for regular use. If your argument is "just use spook", then why is the Chloranthy Ring so high up? Why not just use Green Blossoms? They're easier to get, cheap, and faster to use. Or what about the Sun Princess Ring, why not just use one of the many healing miracles? Why aren't the two of those rings near these two? Well besides the Silvercat Ring. Also by that logic, why would the Sage Ring be so high up? Why not just use the Saint-Tree Bellvine like you use in the footage. It boosts all casting speed by more than what even the Sage Ring +2 does. Dragonscale is good in PvP but not as good as you might think. Unless you're playing stupidly or using heavy weapons, how often are you actually getting backstabbed in PvP? Carthus Bloodring kinda blows but whatever. Priestess Ring lets people cast Tears of Denial without putting 5 slots (more or less) into faith. Even able to be used at SL1. Also the Knight's Ring is great at SL1, being able to use weapons that have a Strength Requirement of 22. Even though there are a smaller amount of miracles, 20% damage boost is still a lot! Hornet Ring actually kinda blows in PvE. It only affects bosses that can be parried AND backstabbed. And in PvP, it's also really good. Also the amount of bosses you can parry is not 7. You can parry Gundyr, Watchers, Sage, Deacons, Pontiff, Dragonslayer Armor, Lorian, Champ Gundyr, Friede, Gravetender, Halflight. Only 5 of these guys would be effected by the Hornet Ring.

Knight Slayer Ring is actually really good, but it is only useful on big ass weapons. But that tends to be every build I ever run so for me it's wonderful. Also, I know it says nowhere that it has any effect on this... but I swear it always feels like I'm stance-breaking enemies faster with it on.

little caveat to Flynns ring, If you Equip Ring of Favor or Havel (pushing your equipment capacity up) it can help boost it as well (since it's a relative thing). But the reality still is, it doesn't give enough for what you're giving up.

moonveil with the woodgrain wouldnt be half bad, plus you get them around the same point of progression, since moonveil is a durability drain, but thats like the single niche use for it, dont saying its placement should change but just bringing that up obviously sage ring +2 is all that'll ever be needed but the witchtree branch and the saints bellchime (i cant rememeber this ones name) give a soft dex of 99, so those are actually what give the fastest casting speed

The Skull Ring does have its specific uses. Mainly in co-op. One person can equip the ring, and the boss will be agroed onto that player 95% of the time, at any distance, ignoring everybody else. Usually the tankiest and most armored player who is ready to play as distraction equips it, and others damage the boss.

Blue Tearstone ring is there to keep your finger warm until you find literally any other ring. A ring that boosts damage when your HP gets to the point where basically any attack will one shot is simply an adornment. In fact, just two days ago with a new character, I saw the effect trigger for the first time in 8 playthroughs.
