I love the Orson Wells Joan Fontaine version. It was so dark and gothic feeling and had tones of the supernatural in their love story. This version has two beautiful actors but both Jane and Edward were rather plain in appearance in the book.
Every tv or film version of Jane Eyre seems to be amazing. Jane and Charlotte and us of course were lucky in the regard. But if you haven't seen Timothy Dalton as Erward Fairfax Rochester...you ain't seen Mr. Rochester...and to add to that...if you haven't seen Timothey Dalton as James Bond you ain't seen Bond either...no offence Daniel Graig...the rest...even Connery I don't care...lol...
I think the 2011 version is the best. Although it has removed some details of the original story but still i think it was full of emotion and worthy to watch again and again! And finally i enjoyed this edit. THANKS❤️
