I disagree some there, at 9 pounds I can take my lwcg 1.0 and have the full stand. I have a saddle and a lock on. And edp and a rzr 2.0 . The less weight is definitely nice, but to each their own

@craigholland2274 of course it's nice. And for sure those are all nice platforms, not disagreeing. 👍 Price vs Weight is what people have to think about. 1-2lb for most people that only hike in 1 mile or maybe 2. Most even less.... Is it worth it. That's the main question. I will be glad to use a light platform, just don't have 300+ to do it currently.

@craigholland2274 I do have an older hawk that comes in around 8lb. They stopped making it about 10yrs ago when light because worth more and rebranded it I believe... Either way, I do like a good hybrid sit. How do you like the RZR? Design looks nice especially the break down....

@TheGoatRope Packs great and super light. I use the cam buckle instead of their amsteal attachment. Good space as it's the mag , to be honest my trophyline edp cams a lot easier though due to the bigger teeth I think. I think for the money the edp is great. The razor mag is good too. Other than the weight and space when packing I almost like the trophyline edp a little better.

My thoughts also,this is a BFS type reel and most people are showing what it can do,we know it's a solid reel.
