Aaron Dason sorry, my friend. You can purchase the developing powder from a camera store. I was in Austin, TX at the time and there happened to be a large camera shop there. The iodine can be purchased at any cvs or Walgreens. The cross can be purchased at Hobby Lobby. Then, you just need any clear plastic or glass container.
I just came across your channel!! I'm wanting to use this object lesson and the video you mentioned for Easter this Sunday. It is possible you could email me the info. Thanks in advance
Crystal Sumpter this video is a few years old. Unfortunately, i no longer have the script but I think you can get the jist of it from the video. The material needed is as follows; wooden unfinished cross, clear container, Kodak D-76 developing powder, and Iodine. Everything can be purchased from Amazon. Hope this helps and Happy Easter!
Randy Helms Okay, thanks. I ended up purchasing Kodak Professional Fixer, and that worked too. I think that sodium thiosulfate is the ingredient that makes it work.
Hi Randy, may I know what are the items you used? Thank you in advance.
Everything can be purchased from Amazon.
@@randyhelms thanks Randy, was looking for them in a short notice. It's alright, will look for a local supplier.

How long can you let the cross sit there with the developer on? I need to prepare 40-60 minutes ahead .
+L Stewart As long as you need to, my friend. I usually prep that far in advance.
Thanks so much, Jason! So excited to hear that you are bringing the Gospel to China! Keep up God's work, my friend!
Don, it is just a wooden cross from Hobby Lobby. You have to make sure that there is no clear coat or paint on it so that the powder will stick.
Love this object lesson. What is the cross made out of?
This object lesson is AMAZING! And what a communicator! I love this guy!!!
+Mike Higginbotham That's kinda random! LOL! Love you too, Mike!!!
Can you use the cross more than once?
Yes, you can. You have to reapply the developing powder each time though.
Thank u! I would love to see more object lessons you have used.
Super, thanks. Is the developer for black & white (like Kodak XTOL) or color (like Kodak D76)? I'm not sure if they have the same chemicals.
It is Kodak D76
