Meta_ performs a Live rendition of her song "Peneir-ar" from debut album "XIV-A Integração" in the ancient hoven of her village in North Portugal, where her grandmother used to bake bread.
Uniting ancient practices with the newest technology, Meta_ brings an unique performance using Wave (Midi Ring) by Genki Instruments, being the first portuguese artist to use it live, paired with Boss Rc505 Loopstation and Ableton Live.
This song "Peneir-ar" from Meta_'s album "XIV- A Integração" talks about sifting what no longer serves us, creating a parallel concept with the ancient practices, while honoring her ancestors, and now bringing the sift and it's meaning into her life now.
Meta_ creates bridges between her voice, ancestry and electronic music in an unique ElectroFolk universe never before seen, uniting her Portuguese roots with World influenes. Born singing and dancing in Nature, it's her passion to bring movement to her performances, now being the first artist in Portugal to use Wave, Genki Instruments.
