Terrible film quality.... even though the story is fascinating. Was this film made in the 1990's?? .... because it certainly looks alot older than 2011 (when it was uploaded). Its pre-HD. Its not a spoof is it?
it was filmed in 1992 . that's 13years before TH-cam existed. I only had a copy of this on VHS if you know what what is and had to covert it to a digital format to upload it onto here. So if you dont like the quality feel free to fxxk off and not watch any of my videos
Fun to think this loco is still running at the railway
Choke her up she’s cold
Jammo
What is the name of this tv show ?
It was Called the 'Why Files' the name was a piss take of the 'X files'
@@ian32uk Thanks.
Nicker knacker purrrrr
Well saved! Funny how everyone start running around frantically when they realise she’s gathering revs a bit quick eh?! Be great to see a video of what’s the little loco is up to these days!!
does anyone know if anyone fitted one in a wagon,,, Ive only d=seen them in shunter s gensets and Availing Barford 40 ton dumpers
Never good to see easystart being used
I've felt cold air in cabs of engines in the Ulster Transport Musuem. I like to believe that past engine crews like to check their engines one last time before moving on or the stay attacthed to their engines forever
during their working lives steam engines saw a lot of history so you have wonder about the people who originally worked on them
Maybe that ghost guy was once part of the crew of that engine. He just wants to check on her to see of she's alright 😀.

Almost a runaway.....hehe
she was very hard to start
Yes it sounded like it Stuart! She started in the first video then suddenly shut down again.. not great news really!
It sounded like it was gonna explode
Good save boys😂 thought she was gonna get away on ya lol
Now that 5619 is up and running, has it stopped?
Mr Western Productions has it stopped now
Im a volunteer at Telford steam railway and me and another volunteer could hear tapping like someone was hammering inside the boiler of 5619 we went to take a look and nothing was there
sounded like it almost became a run away motor
exactly what I was thinking when they all started running. Yay it runs! oh fuck, it wont turn off....
LOL
yeap, but something was wrong, the sound of the turbo was audible, but a lot of white smoke,Air filter dirty.or bad fuel-
Apparently this should be part 1
Boy that one almost got away
Can't wait to come back again next year guys I loved every minute of your railway thanks :)
if it works it works and that's all that matters, glad you guys could save that poor engine from destruction.
You need a least a board just to choke it off.
"..uhhhh, is the turbo supposed to spool up at idle?? UH OHHHH!"
hahaha, happened to once i new the pump was stuck so i hold on to some tool to loosen up the injectors as picked up speed. just like these guys i wanted to now it it wold pic-up life be for doing the big overheal ( these days its ready and drive's haply over over the tracks)
Well done I look forwrd to it being in operation. I'd love to see it go to Ironbridge and then to Bridgenorth.
Time to get down and push....
16.2 litres wonder if it would fit under the cab of an atki borderer
*what was the loco thinking* MWUHAHAHAHAAAA!!!! FUCK YOU GREEN PEACE!!!
Smookeeeee on the railroadtracks..... fire in the engine! :P

When my boys saw this video they said, "If Thomas the train was a diesel that is how he would look." LOL
talfacprez yes. Yes he would.
The kind of diesel equivalent, that's very true!
explain what you mean by running away?
Nathan O'Connor where the engine goes out of control and spins up until the oil comes up from the sump, gets into the pistons and it all goes up in smoke (ik how old this comment is)
Well, there are even lots of 4-cylinder car diesel engines with displacement of 1.6l to 2l, and nowadays most of them are turbocharged.
No, it wasn't. If it were, you wouldn't have been able to throttle it down but still keep it running.
A diesel running away means that you could even shut off the fuel and it would still run, since the turbo seals are wrecked and thus the engine sucks in its own lubricant oil and runs on that. There aren't many ways of stopping a runaway diesel, best chances are to block off the air intake (but don't even think of doing it with a cloth, it'll just get sucked in) or to stall it, if at all possible.
WOULDN'T HAVE WOULDN'T HAVE WOULDN'T HAVE WOULDN'T HAVE WOULDN'T HAVE WOULDN'T HAVE WOULDN'T HAVE WOULDN'T HAVE
at that point it's like ...oh shit.
Cool little switch engine.I can't believe its also turbocharged, impressive!!.
Definitely sounds like my daddys Royce when he starts it in the morning
it grew legs and ran off......
looks like a steamer
Soon as it fired i thought it would run away
ouch!. how you guys manage to stop it?
Sounds a bit like a paxman engine??
what do you mean when you say that the engine was running away?
The reves just keep going up and up until the engine blows up seen it happen a few times now
Thomas was acting very cheeky as sir topum hat tried to throttle him down.
Oooft, BRB change of underwear.
