I have the Champion 4500/ 3650 generator. We just went through Hurricane Helene, and I used this generator hard for 14 days. The 14th day I woke up, shut it off for refuel, and it would just backfire. I tried everything to get it to start and had no luck. Finally I went and bought a feeler gauge, and decided to try this. Ofcourse on my generator it said. 008 on exhaust, and .006 on intake side. It worked, thank you so much. My exhaust side was completely tight, I tried what you said, and it started on the second pull. Your saving generators, and money. It also says on Champions web page everyone should adjust their valves any ways to extend the life of your generator. Well ,Thanks again.

Forget towing that tote and lugging it from beside the trailer. Buy a macerator pump and leave the tote in the back of your truck. Use the macerator to fill it. Now, you can drive to any dump site at normal speed without worrying about potholes and ruts that might damage your tote wheels. Never move 200+ lbs of water again.

I own 2 of these champion generators how many hours did they have on them before valve adjustments.

Şorry -brother but you failed to find TDC,, you don't set the valve s with either valve open! U find TDC ON COMPRESSION STROKE!! BOTH VALVES 100% CLOSED!

I shoot black powder out of my 1860 Henry. Never clean it! And never had a problem. I swab the barrel, and spray some oil in the action. And no rust
