I've been waiting over a year. Since October 2021. Had to reorder for a 2023 model year. Really dissapointed in Ford and their ability to manufacture.

It's interesting that they keep mentioning that they targeted younger consumers, yet most, if not all, of the customers I've dealt with who own one have been like myself, older, previous truck owners, and simply looking for a compact truck like they used to have -- mostly Rangers. Most of them, like myself, don't care about all the tech frills, they just want an affordable, simple, and yet somewhat capable vehicle. It actually had some on the forum joking that if they advertised to those who were actually buying them, it would have turned off the demographic they claimed to target. I placed my order for a '23 the day the order banks opened. I balked on a '22 as orders piled up so fast I thought I'd have never seen it -- and there's still no saying I will now. All that said, most reviews mention that it's quick and fun to drive is an additional bonus as it means it will be more like a couple of the Rangers I owned.

After waiting 14 months I finally got my velocity blue xlt hybrid w/copilot 360 and it awesome 👌 according to the computer I'm getting 35mpg on the hwy and 48-52mpg in town now I have only had it 4 a few days but it is worth the wait. The EV coach will teach you how to get the most out of My maverick hybrid. I just absolutely love it!

As well as the design is, and great input of the design team, I think a customer focus group could have taking the concept further.

I hope SAE has some insights into the future of Ford getting tighter control of how the get their parts! A post mortem on what happened during the Tariffs and pandemic shortages. I’m STILL waiting on my Maverick, ordered the first week of August, 2021. 😢

If nobody can get one to show it off to friends and neighbors, this truck is just a great idea online. Ford needs to do better with production forecasting and communication with customers. Some customers are waiting 15-16 months to get the hybrid.

So when will I get my freakin truck
